Bertie's Cafe

Had an excellent breakfast burger that was very tasty, it was a generous size and extremely filling. It seems like there’s a lot of pies to try here too, will try if I drive through here again. Included some pictures

Might not look like much from outside. But the insides are fresh and delicious - I had Chicken Fetta pie and had to get another Cauliflower Cheese pie… $16 well spent 👍🏼👍🏼

Baked goods are a must at this establishment, huge pies and giant tasty sausage rolls worth every dollar.

Next I will try a juicy burger 🍔

Always had good food here. Love their big breakfast. The burgers are great too.

Beautiful little café in a town full of history, I stumbled across Bertie's by accident and I'm so glad I did the food was fantastic the service great and the atmosphere was relaxing

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Really friendly staff. Tasty hot food, served promptly to great c&w music. We regretted that we didn't have room for Cauliflower and cheese pies as well. A great stopping off place between Cooma and the coast.

We stopped in for a coffee during a brief coach rest break. The service was friendly and fast. The coffee was delicious, as were some GF slices. A few locals were in for breakfast and the food looked and smelled great.

We were passing through this little town and thought we’d stop for a coffee.
We decided to try pies and couldn’t believe how good they were. All made there on the premises by some very talented person.
We had been holidaying in Canberra and all I can say Bertie’s food surpassed anything we had while in Canberra.
Bertie’s was an unassuming delight!

Great little cafe. Friendly staff and a lovely outdoor eating area. Food was good too.

Staff were friendly and efficient. We purchased several different coffees and slices. Very good coffee and the slices were beautiful.
We also purchased pies
and sausage rolls cold so we could reheat them when we arrived home some 6 hours later. Great decision as these were all really good...

Lovely Cafe in Nimmitabel worth stopping at for meals and/or coffee. Great food selection and I had their home-made Vege Quiche for dinner and it was really tasty! Staff friendly and very helpful. Would definitely return!!

Been stopping here on and off for years and the quality and service is always brilliant. Great bacon sarnie and they make excellent coffee and hot chocolate. Steak sanga is always a good bet too. Thanks once again for a tasty stop on the way to the coast. We will be back - oh and garden is a lovely spot on a nice day.

Called in this morning for coffee on recommendation from a friend. Had very good coffee at the Cafe and purchased the soup of the day, (pumpkin and kumara) and 2 pies and a sausage roll to have later. Had the soup and sausage roll for lunch, both were scrumptious. We have just finished eating the pies for our dinner, 1 plain, 1 beef and mushroom. So delicious, so very obviously home made with love and care, much better than any bakery pie we have eaten. Highly recommend you stop by and enjoy the friendly service and delectable food. Don't leave without a pie!

Best pies and sausage rolls, they are too good to miss. Cakes and slices are amazing too. Friendly service. It's our favourite place to stop at for a bite on our road trips.
