Best restaurant in Mission beach.
The food was impressively good, well thought and elegant. I enjoyed dining there very much and will be looking forward to come back again! Thank again to Dennis that was very friendly with us

We had an awesome lunch here after a walk at the Clump national park. The gentleman who works in the dining area was really friendly, joyful and efficient, he recommended us the duck shank special was delicious, and also the Korean wings, chicken katsu buns were all good. You can also walk along the beach after the meal here. Good atmosphere, good food and good service here.

Nice food and super friendly, attentive service. The cocktails are also pretty tasty and innovative. I tried the salmon which came with a large prawn and some roe on top, served on a bed of steamed veg. While they were a bit mushy, everything else was faultless. The superfood salad with tofu is also tasty and fresh and a good size for the price

Buko has a lovely location overlooking the spacious lawn and the palm fringed beach beyond. My meal (pork skewers with fried cucumber rice) was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff and service were exceptional.

Great service and great, reasonably priced food! Eric was super attentive, topping up water, asking if we needed anything else and cracking jokes naturally.

The 3 dishes for $40 was at first confusing but ended up being perfect. We loved the arancini, beef cheek taco and Korean fried chicken. The gnocchi was a little over salted for my taste, but that might just be the natural crab flavour.

The view was beautiful and a great place to stop in as the high street of Mission Beach has mostly overpriced and under quality tourist food. We’ll definitely be back!

We can’t believe that this place doesn’t have higher ratings. We stayed here in December 2021 and all food and drinks were delicious. We love cocktails and the restaurant offers such great variety of drinks. Also, we tried multiple dishes and desserts from the menu which were all amazing. We are thinking of coming back this year ☺

Had the absolute pleasure of stopping by for an overcast breakfast. Had the most delicious, tasty and well cooked food in mission beach. Great price for quality and quantity of portions, the banana and bacon pancakes were incredible. Lovely staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Beautiful venue in front of the beach. Honestly can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

I start to appreciate this place since when i walk from the main door with happy and smiling face. I have been eating at Bibesia restaurant a few weeks ago with my girlfriend we spend the dinner time and lunch and we fell a really particular atmosphere. With an incredible breeze from the ocean... the food was delicious and and perfectly season.
Amazing cooking of the Tazmania Salmon and local Barramundi... as the Tuna poke and Cevice with local Coral trout was just a taste of freshness... form me the best in Mission Beach... we will see you again for sure... thanks for the amazing taste of north Australia

Dropped in for iced coffees on our walk along the beach and, while my soy iced latte was somewhat average, we loved the relaxing atmosphere and views of the beach. Not sure what the food is like, but decent spot to stop for a quick drink.

Had a fantastic lunch with our good friends from Bingal Bay at Buko Restaurant which is located right on the Beach at Mission Beach.

The service and food were amazing. Given the number of patrons they were serving it was quite incredible how little time it took to receive our meals. Absolutely the best dining experience I have ever had. Very well done to the manager Dennis, the wait staff and kitchen. You all deserve a massive 👍

Stayed at Castaway Resort for a night last week with my family. We had dinner at Buko. The food is reasonably priced, and very tasty. Recommend the squid ink gnocchi and slow cooked pork. The waitress was very nice and friendly as well.

Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The service and location is absolutely amazing, a big thank you to Hannah who was very chatty and helpful.

We asked the Locals around Mission beach where was the best place to eat in town , Buko was suggested - we popped in mid morning to check out the menu and also decided to have a coffee and mango smoothie - both very enjoyable ( especially the smoothie made to order by Willow ) and between the high standard of these, the service and the gorgeous setting we decided to book in for dinner. Daniel arranged the booking with a casual but totally professional way that I think very few people could master . The meal exceeded all our expectations especially the salt and pepper squid which not only was the best squid entrée I have ever had it was the best entrée ever. The Main was very enjoyable I added on a Yorkshire pudding for no good reason other than I love it . But the best was yet to come Desert was divine a Yuzu Tart with Pistachio floss for me . Dennis and Martin served us effortlessly left us wanting nothing and made this a special night for us .

We go here every time we visit Mission and dinner this time was spot on. We went Tapas style for dinner and the dishes were all either good or great. Service was excellent and we know experienced staff are hard to get at the moment. The only slight blip was our first couple of wine choices were out of stock. This remains one of my favourites, we will be back next time we are in Mission Beach.

Had a wonderful experience at Buko for breakfast this morning. The Staff were friendly and efficient. Daniel is a superstar, he brings a lovely calming vibe to the restaurant.
