Charlie's Beach House

Don't miss this gem! Charlie's Beach House is a cafe and bar during the day and a smoke house and restaurant at night. We had a meat platter from the custom designed smoker here. It was mind-blowing!

Great location right on the beach. Had the brisket which was very tasty with a decent salad and potatoes on the side. Good alcohol selection with a pretty decent Cabernet Sauvignon which went very well with the brisket. Service was spot on with friendly down to earth staff
Will definitely be back on my next trip through the area

A fantastic selection of meals to choose from including vegetarian . We had one veg meal and one seafood meal , both creative and tasty along with wonderful friendly staff and the Chef . Great location , maybe a few more fans in the outdoor dining area especially for this time of year “Summer” .

Fantastic food based around a Steam punk custom made smoker using local Ironbark and paperbark wood. The platters we had included brie with smoked honey and thyme, tzatziki, house baked bread, brisket, pickles, the world's crispest potatoes, slaw, fried cauliflower, smoked olives and mushrooms, black beans with roasted capsicum. Trust the owner/chef and get per head share plates if there's a few of you. A small Boutique range of beers, wines and spirits compliment the menu well. Great artworks, music and airy space of the restaurant matches the food and ethos. All menu's offer items that are unique and not run of the mill at all. The from scratch kitchen and focus on locally sourced products is a great concept.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. We stopped at mission beach when driving up to Port Douglas. The food was very good and they even made off-menu sandwiches. BBQ is outstanding!

We stumbled upon this place for an iced coffee one day, and came back the next as we heard it is a smokehouse by night. WOW. Charlie has hand-designed a smoker that looks like something from the 1920s and the smoked onyx beef brisket was to die for - the best bbq of my life, probably. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the location right on the beachfront is wonderful. Can’t believe they weren’t listed on Google before this - please visit and enjoy an incredible day or night in Mission Beach ❤❤❤

Charlie’s is an absolute gem with its laid back atmosphere and delicious food cooked with love. The smoked brisket is consistently delicious along with many vegetarian options benefiting from the smoked flavours. Fresh flavoursome salads, lovingly prepared with herbs and dressings act like flavour bombs for the tastebuds to accompany each dish.
A thoughtful selection of wines, beers and cocktails, superb coffee and a beautifully ambient playlist of jazz and world music mean Charlie’s Beach Bar is the best Mission Beach has to offer, along with the finest view. Thank you Charlie!

What a BRILLIANT addition to Mission Beach!!!! The BEST customer service, yummy meals, perfect coffee (also takeaway) and all this, with sea/island views and breeze!!!! Thank you for being here Charlie!! When you visit Mission Beach, DO NOT miss a visit!!!! oh, and also has LIVE MUSiC and a SMOKER!!!! What more could you ask for...LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

My partner had a bacon and egg roll with tomato relish and I had a brisket and egg roll, it was up there with the best breakfast we have ever had ! The service was fantastic and we are going back there for dinner
