Ilfracombe Caravan Park

We had the most amazing 2 days here. Amenities were extremely clean and well kept. The camp kitchen……no words describe how awesome this area is. Big screen TV with Kayo for all your sporting pleasures, fantastic fireplace and such clean cooking areas with portable ovens, air fryer and BBQ. The new owners are awesome 💗

Thank you very very Christo for successfully modifying my Pro-Tow Predator. The alteration to enable the towing system to hang freely was a great success. I’ve already showed other grey-nomads who are using the Predator systems your bracket arrangement. Both seemed to be impressed with the view of adding your bracket design to ease the parking operation. Further more thank you for your wonderful caravan park. The both of you should be very proud. I’ll be back

A lovely caravan park. Reasonably priced. Friendly management. Very informative and helpful. Beautiful clean amenities. Beautiful hot showers. Pet friendly. 25k from Longreach. Although on main road not too noisy.

The manager went out of her way to accommodate us and sort us out with a cabin at very short notice. Hugely appreciated and top shelf customer service. I love this place, so much better than Longreach tourist trap.

A great van park. Friendly hosts, well cared for grounds, and a great happy hour with delicious South African sourdough snack provided. Just a short drive to Longreach, and next door to the classic Wellshot hotel.

A really warm and jovial friendly welcome from the proprietors Christo and Ansie. Nothing was too much trouble! They managed to squeeze us in when even after their pet friendly rooms were already booked for the night.

We left our dog Peaches collar there by accident and they've already been in touch asking for address to send this on to.

The caravan park is so incredibly well cared for, both the grounds and rooms. You can tell this couple takes pride in what they do!

A really quiet caravan park that was easy to find and our only wish is that we had time to stay for longer! Local WellShot Hotel Pub is just around the corner, but the Ilfracombe Caravan Park has a lovely social area with an gorgeous open fire for you to enjoy and meet other travelers at the end of your day if you wish.

Probably our best stay on our very long journey between the Sunshine Coast and Yuendumu Community.

We'll be recommending this one to all our friends coming this way!

Thank you for a lovely camp-site to stay with beautiful grass after our dusty trip. Location was perfect to explore the area and do our bird photography. The Wellshot pub next door had great meals. Catered for my Gf Df needs. Even a Woodfired Pizza. The town is a must to wander.

This is the prettiest and cleanest caravan park ever! The happy hour shed is delightful, and the peaceful nights are a real bonus. Thank you Christo and Ansie! 😁

Great place to stay next too iconic hotel easy drive to longreach then back to a quiet peaceful caravan pk would stay here again and again , clean well kept just a short walk to pool and artisan spring.

We had a wonderful stay caravanning with family . Clean park well set out . Hosts very friendly and helpful .Definitely one the best parka we have stayed in

Highly recommend this caravan park. The couple running it were lovely and very helpful. Everything is very clean and tidy and loved hearing everyone enjoy themselves at the 5pm happy hour. Only 19 minutes to Longreach and nice to be a bit out of town. Walk up to the Coffee Hatch in the morning for amazing coffee. We had a great time! Thank you

The owners went miles out of their way to accommodate us and some other late arrivals. The most welcoming caravan park managers we've ever met. They even offered to help dry our gear after we were caught in the rain. Comfortable and clean facilities, lovely quiet environment. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The cabin is very well equipped. Microwave. Oven. Fresh clean linen. Very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful . Would recommend this place to any travellers. They have happy hour every day. Great atmosphere.

Simply perfect for our stay, and the manageress was SO lovely!

On our way to Winton we purposely stopped for a night. Friendly, welcoming Park owners who hold events to welcome their guests. Some van parks don't have to unhitch. The park and facilities are clean and well managed. Walking distance to the Well Shot Hotel for a drink and a great feed. Machinery Miller and heritage Centre across the road.

Had a great time at the caravan park starting the minute we arrived. Anise gave a warm welcome and Christo guided us in to our spot. Had time to greet us and provide valuable information. We booked an extra night as we just loved there Passion for the Park. All the best wishes to the new owners. Travel Safe
