Wellshot Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wellshot Pub in Ilfracombe for two nights while visiting with Rural Aid. This charming little Outback pub captivates with its warm atmosphere and fascinating historical decor that tells a story of the area's rich farming heritage. From the early morning coffee to the cracking lunches and dinners. The Wellshot Pub comes highly recommended for anyone passing through or planning an overnight stay in the region. It's a perfect slice of local culture and hospitality. We did a work function and finished with a lovely meal out side under the stars and trees.

Stayed overnight with caravan. Lovely people, loved their poddy calf 😀our 2 border collies loved the area of grass too. Food awesome, super relaxed & friendly.

A great place to stay or have a feed and a beer! Great atmosphere, clean dongas, great food, cold beer, what more could you ask for!!! I always stay there on my trips up the gulf.

Best pub hubby and I have ever been to ! And we've been to alotttttttttt ...thanks guys ...we had a giggle with the seats 😂

The buffet ran a bit short , as they were so busy, but quickly topped it off or gave you your choice from the regular menu

Good little hotel vibe, rooms are cheap or you can sleep in your swag out the back or in your caravan. Meals are decent and ginger beer is cold. Staff were friendly and girl at the bar was a wizard.

Great country pub accommodation. Lovely bright verandah and sitting area, Large room, comfortable bed and beautifully clean fresh sheets, air con, and clean shared facilities.

Great place to stay! We had a motorhome, the amenities were very clean!! Staff were lovely! We stayed longer than we planned as we thoroughly enjoyed it there!

Nice little stop on the way to Winton. Burger was awesome and the outpost unit was great! It was nice to see people getting around for their weekly darts competition.
Owner and staff were really friendly. We were happy to have good take away coffee the next morning to keep on our journee.

Stopped in for a feed and a cold drink. Food was delectable and service was friendly and efficient. And their coffee in the mornings through the hatch is spot on👌. Love the donations on the ceiling and the history in the hats across the walls.

The rooms are basic but priced accordingly and always clean and comfortable. Shared facilities are always impeccable.
Food and service is excellent, as is the coffee.
We stay here every time.

Great country hospitality, great milkshakes available. Very nice toasted steak sandwich and crunchy chips. Indoor and outdoor dining.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Perfect spot for a cold beer out the front watching the road trains go past. We stayed the night - the room was basic but still held a lot of charm, comfy bed and well priced. The staff were super friendly. Finished off with a great coffee in the morning from their little coffee shop. Highly recommend.

This place is a little gem!! Great food and friendly people. Live music on a Friday night which was great 😊 country guys and gals got a few of us out of Towners up for a dance which was a lot of good old fashion fun 🤩 definitely worth a stop here people !!

We really really enjoyed our time here yesterday!! Lovely bar staff - particularly young American lady and the other lady I believe was an owner/manager? Thanks for your hospitality, warmth and story telling.

Prices good and really delicious food. Amazing chicken schnitzel - especially for the outback!! Overall ambiance was just great and a lot to look at/a lot of history to soak in.

You can also camp out the back - $10 pp.

The rooms were fresh, clean and the bed very comfy.
The ladies bathroom was spotlessly clean and the service 5 star.
The food was wholesome, good and filling.
Our best find was the Coffee Hatch which serves fantastic coffees.

Loved how the pub had The Coffee Hatch! Best coffee I had on our whole road trip. Highly recommend.

Stayed in a campsite out the back while passing through the area. Thoroughly enjoyed the drinks, friendly service and laid-back atmosphere of this first class country pub.
