Imbil Camping Retreat

An idyllic spot to camp. I felt rejuvenated after a long weekend here. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Amenities block has seen better days but it’s kept clean. Imbil town is gorgeous. The pub is a great place for a meal and the bakery is amazing. Highly recommend this camp ground.

Such a great little spot to get away. Very peaceful. Staff are lovely. Everything you need is walking distance. The Mary Valley rail trail bike ride is great also. Definitely worth a weekend away.

We had a wonderful Easter long weekend. Beautiful location, great creek for the kids to play in, dog friendly, we brought our own portable toilet as amenities were a short walk away (they were always clean and never had to line up though). We were on powered site 16 which was spacious. A small team who run the camping retreat - always friendly, helpful and working hard. Thanks for hosting a great weekend with thoughtful activities for the kids!

Beautiful camping spot for the family. We had a lovely time! The river is perfect to cool down in and the kids spent countless hours swimming and using the hired kayaks. Beautiful lush setting with lots of shade and trees. Dogs loved it too! The activities at Easter were awesome and the kids and adults had a great time. Thankyou and we will see you next Easter! 🐣

Great camping spot. We stayed in the Bell Tent for the long Easter Weekend. Facilities were great, campgrounds well maintained, hot showers every time. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of activities for the kids. We all had a great time. Can’t wait to go back. Please put in ensuites or make the Bell Tent a self contained area so we could have spent more time there as the view was beautiful.

I had a truely wonderful weekend away with my family. Staff were very friendly and the amenities clean and well maintained.

Brett and Cheryl are amazing … we normally camp in a tent but this time we upgraded to a caravan … they really know how to care and give a great experience helpful on every level … can not recommend highly enough love imbil camping retreat definitely be back

A beautiful part of the world. Nice grassy sites, flowing creek, and wonderful hosts that went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We will certainly be back again soon! Thanks Rob & Kelly!

I absolutely love staying at Imbil Camping Retreat.
There are so many things to do with the kids, the campgrounds are stunning, and you have prime access to the creek. I would highly recommend!

Very welcoming and friendly managers, all facilities lovely , clean and tidy. Easy walking distance to local shops and markets, park was very pretty with the lovely flowerings Jacaranda’s and large fig trees . Easy access to the Yabba creek

What a great campsite! The park and amenities are really pristine, camp kitchen and small laundry facilities. My sister and I spent the weekend and were really sorry we hadn’t booked for longer! The managers were super nice and communication over the weekend was spot on. We loved the Yabba Creek clear waters for swimming (also designated dog beach) you can hire kayaks, bikes and SUP’s.

Only a 5 minute stroll into town, coffee shops, bakery (with the best vanilla slices), and pub, again friendly service and great meals

We will definitely be back in the winter to take advantage of the rail trail.

Rob & Kelli made our stay at Imbil Camping Retreat lots of fun over the Australia Day long weekend. We hired kayaks & SUPs to explore the creek, swam in the creek (a lot) & they organised loads of activities to keep everyone entertained! Being quite hot, the snow cone van was well frequented. Thank you!

Can highly recommend - everything in the park was so clean and well maintained, staff were welcoming and helpful, the local pub food was amazing and we got the best ever bbq steaks from the local butcher! Coffee and croissants at Andre's Bake Haus was perfect, loved the hippy shop in town, and Kenilworth didn't disappoint either with the bakery, cheeses, and quaint little boutiques - everyone needs to spend a few days at Imbil Camping Retreat - we will definitely be back, thankyou 😊

We love Imbil Camping Retreat. Was beautiful and green after some rain. Managers are helpful and friendly and the park is extremely clean and well maintained. Lovely walk into town, refreshing creek, great for the dogs…that’s why we keep coming back 😃

Great spot for long or short stay. Camping ground's were generous and surroundings were really well looked after. Free activities such as table tennis and volleyball are complementary, and payable activities are also available. Can purchase fire wood and hire fire pits from the reception. The campground is almost town centre and walkable to all the shops. We will definitely be booking here again!

When we arrived it had just started spitting and our allocated site was already just a mud pile which wasn't ideal with 2 kids and a dog but the ladies in the office were so accommodating and able to move us to a grassy spot with no hassle at all! Despite the continued wet weather it was still a really beautiful spot with lots to do. Can't wait to return in the Sunshine to really utilise all this place has to offer!
