Port Fairy Surf School

My kids participated in the 3 day program & I have to say, this school is fantastic. The instructors are great, not only are their surf skills & knowledge first class, they take the time to educate the kids on the risks, dangers & wonders of the surf. Most importantly though, they make it fun, added in games throughout the lesson to keep the kids engaged & having fun. Jayden & Jordi ran the sessions, they are absolutely fantastic. Kids more than loved it, will be back here next time in Port Fairy for sure. Highly recommend!!

I was part of the Women’s Surf program for the past few weeks! I had never tried surfing before but I was blown away by the kindness of the instructors and the overall experience. I felt super safe and no questions were too silly! A great fun learning environment and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Jayden & the team are absolutely phenomenal and go above & beyond to make sure you’re getting the best out of your time with them! Our group had the best time and we can’t wait for our next trip down to Port Fairy. Not only are Port Fairy Surf School the best instructors, they’re a ripper bunch of people!!! I booked a private lesson with Jayden and had such a great experience. I'm an intermediate surfer and was really able to help me level up my surfing skills with the tips and tricks that he provided. Highly recommend booking a session, bonus for him being a ripper lad too!

My first time surfing and the coaches were amazing. So supportive, encouraging and all round legends. The women’s surfing program was a real vibe, would highly recommend for anyone wanting to have a go.

A really fun morning! Jayden and Toni provided good instruction and hands on corrections in the water when needed. East Beach was an ideal place to learn. I went as an adult learner in a group class. Equipment was great. Definitely recommend if you are in the port fairy area

Fantastic surf school, the instructors Jaiden, Declan and Michelle were all brilliant and patient with my kids. Both my kids were quite scared after being badly dumped previously, but both walked away confident, happy and developed heaps of valuable skills. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back it was the highlight of our Port Fairy trip!

Jayden was great, friendly, approachable. Kids really listen and took on board what he was teaching them.

My 9 year old had her birthday party this weekend. I was worried not all the children would enjoy but they had so much fun and 1 walked away asking for a surfboard. Highly recommend for a different party. The guys were very good with the kids and joined in on the games.

Thank you to Port Fairy Surf School for making my 2024 resolution of learning how to surf come true. The team were so patient and attentive especially when it came to my concerns and disability. It took some time but once I rode that first wave it was an exhilarating rush I had never experienced before. Now I'm saving up for my first board (boogie boards who??). Anyway 10/10 would recommend to my friends and family!

I recommend Port fairy surf school to novice surfers like myself, the instructors are very professional whilst making a fun
& engaging lesson. After having lessons i am now more comfortable & competent with surfing, all thanks to the legends down at Port Fairy surf school.

Thanks Jayden top job! After booking my anxious daughters in whom didn’t want to do surf lessons, your humour, encouragement and letting them know it’s up to them as to what they are comfortable with, won my girls over. They both loved it and had so much fun! A great experience and feeling of accomplishment for them both.

A great chance to learn and master the foundation skills for your surfing journey. Loved the multi sessions that built on one another and the encouragement that came with female instructors and a community of new surfers learning together

We completed the 5-day beginner surfing lesson at port fairy. Jayden and his team were friendly and helpful. We were able to stand-up and catch-up few waves on day 1. My boys were able to quickly learn few tricks like switching, sitting/lying down poses and many more. We also took kayak tour with Jayden along moyne river and into griffitts island. It was a good and fun experience and we would be going back to port fairy on our next holiday.

Great experience for the kids and adults alike! Fun and friendly instructors and Port Fairy Beach was a wonderful beach for my wife and son who were total beginners. Highly recommend Jayden and the Port Fairy Surf School crew

My children really enjoyed it, they had never surfed before, Jordy was a great instructor! Both kids up and surfing early in the lesson and spent the whole time in the water back and forth trying to catch the next wave !
