Split Rock

Great walk, great views, challenging climb. Allow 3 hours or more if going to the top.

Breathtaking view from the top of the summit, the best spot to take a pan view of the bread-knife rock.

Definitely worth the effort. Follow the Split Rock Circuit trail. Trails a little more rugged than those out of Pincham, but great views from summit.

Beautiful, beautiful countryside, wild and rugged. The track is fairly well maintained especially lower down. Up the top, it is bare rock marked by yellow markers. A fair bit of scrambling is necessary, but the view from the top is absolutely stunning. A few small trees have grown up at the top obscuring part of the view.

A difficult climb to the top of Belougery Split Rock in the Warrumbungle National Park was worth the effort, for the stunning views.

Walked this on a drizzly overcast day. Still stunning scenery.

Brilliant scenery, easy walk for able bodies. Place comes alive after dark with stars too so bring a camera and a tripod.
