We were here 8 years ago and we are happy to say that today's visit was equally as good. Love the atmosphere, service and food. Thank you.

Who would have thought that Braidwood was the place to go for amazing food and sensational hospitality… The fact is this inland town is a fantastic place to visit and you would be remiss if you didn’t head to The Albion Cafe for some amazing food and delicious coffee.

The cafe has a great ambiance with a cozy lit dining room warmed by a roaring fire in the corner. There are baskets and bowels full of fresh produce that are on display throughout the venue.

The service is prompt and friendly and coffee orders are taken as soon as you sit down at your table. On that note, this is one of the few places in town that opens at 7am if you need an early morning coffee and feed.

The food is amazing. Stand out was the crunchy granola that had bowl set yogurt that was reminiscent of a silky panna cotta. The rhubarb compote balancing the sweet yoghurt and crunchy honey granola.

Usual breakfast fare like eggs and bacon are well prepared with poached eggs runny and golden. Bread is sourced from local artisan bakers.

Thanks for a coupe of great breakfasts!! I will be back next time I’m in Braidwood.

Great food selection on the menu, had a fulfilling lunch at the Cafe. The portion size was good too, we had spring Avo, cheese toasties, hot chocolates, Cowgirl chickpea. Everything was tasty. Really enjoyed eating our meal.

Lovely atmosphere within the cafe. There was a small fire going in the fireplace that really perfected the coziness. The staff were very friendly.
The food was very tasty and was clearly fresh out of the kitchen. A good place to have a quick lunch whilst transitting through the town.

We did our homework before arriving in Braidwood and we were rewarded with a fabulous brunch, it was 10:30am. Wait staff were very efficient and attentive. The cafe has a great mix of modern trend and vintage eclectic atmosphere.
Ordered the signature "Albion Bacon Bun" & skim Cappuccino. We didn't wait to long for the coffee and the breakfast bun arrived not too long after.
Well, five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐for the bacon bun and coffee! The bun included fried egg, streaky bacon, beautiful aioli, beautiful red pepper jam, all encased in a fluffy potato bun. We were curious about the potato in-a-bun thing, but rewarded for the curiosity... beautiful fluffy bun
We would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent! Very cosy interior, great food, great coffee, very attentive and welcoming staff. Hat off for kitchen chief in particular.

Update: just dropped here again, and see they are keeping their high standard. Very pleased.

All in all, a great place to stop for a meal and coffee!

The Albion Cafe is gorgeous. It's situated in an old terrace and set up beautifully with a rustic, market vibe. The staff were war, attentive and rather efficient. The food was mouth watering. Try the honey chai, delicious!

We arrived in the peak of a lovely winters saturday morning and were quickly greeted with a lovely smile and welcoming feel.
No sooner had we been seated we were promptly offered drinks. The two rug rats were fairly restless and the wait staff quickly noticing offered some colouring in books to keep them entertained.
The coffee was great, the fig & hazelnut toast lovely but the bacon burger was to die for. It is one of the best bacon and egg burgers i have ever had, deliciously crispy bacon with wonderful free range eggs topped with amazing tomato relish and creamy sauce. Definitely make sure u try it if you drop in.

Flavor, texture , beautiful brunch , these folks know how to cook ! Beaut Cafe in Braidwood . Stop and Go !

Staff were very friendly, very clean, food was delicious. Service with a smile, toilets were clean and really happy with the meals. Would recommend!

Cruised into this spot for a break, and it did not disappoint! Delicious bacon bun, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the coffee hit the spot.

The food is here is very enjoyable, it's a great place to have a meal with friends or family. The decor is amazing! Is a tad expensive but worth it 🤩

Best cafe I've been in for ages! Great surprise to arrive at Braidwood and find it a lively beautiful wee town, Attractive shops and beautiful trees.
Our coffee and homemade muffins were delicious. It was a very hot day, beautiful verandah to sit under. inside decor is very attractive. I would definitely stop again when passing through Braidwood.
