From the entrance to the cafe setting, plant nursery and amazing layout of the gardens it is truly a spectacular facility. A wonderful combination of kids and adult play area with some excellent home garden design ideas. A perfect example of what a botanic garden can do to encourage community to embrace their native landscape.

I was a bit surprised to find such a great place outside of Australia's metropolitan areas! It's not like your typical Melbourne/Sydney Botanical Garden with lots of well maintained flowers and British Lawn as it has more "wild" nature including bush walks, Wallabies, Grey Kangaroos and - of course - lots of birds. The cafe offers breakfast and lunch options, reasonable priced with Indoor and (covered) outdoor seating. They also offer a BBQ area to bring / prep your own food next to the huge playground. Lots of parking space (including buses/campers/trailor); FYI: there is a second parking lot behind the first one if that is crowded! Highly recommend!

Please leave a like if this review was of any help!

Entrance is free so a must visit if you are in the area. Experience a forest walk through 2 bridges that run over part of the park. Multiple hikes along a couple of loops with low to medium difficulties. The total of all loops is ~4km. Really good kids' play area, and a nice visitors centre and cafe.

Lovely bushland type 'Botanic Gardens'. Had a long walk around here and saw lots of wildlife, eg. Kangaroo's, various Lizards and even a big goanna!

At the café, as we had our yummy meal, we watched a Red-Bellied Black Snake hunting, catching and then eating a hapless frog. 🐸 🐍

What a superb morning we spent walking around this free!! to visit place. The gardens and forest are extremely well laid out, with short walks that you can join together and explore various areas. Some superb vegetation and plant life with various ponds positioned around to attract bird life.
Then, to add to your day a lovely cafe that served almost everything you need from a good cup of tea (very important to most of us from the UK) to hot meals. The staff were attentive and kept the place very clean & tidy.
Brilliant place to spend so e very relaxing hours.

We enjoyed it here. It’s still recovering from major bushfires in 2019 but it’s still well worth a visit, especially to get your daily steps up on the well marked paths. There are some nice trees, shrubs and other plants and some lovely wetlands. Altogether it’s a very peaceful spot. The cafe here - Mossy on Gardens - is wonderful in its own right - the coffee and food are excellent - and the gift shop is terrific too.

Beautiful place to visit and see the kangaroos, healthy gardens and wild birds out and about. Have breakfast, brunch or lunch at the café and enjoy inside or outdoor seating amongst the picturesque and well maintained garden

Absolutely gorgeous walk. Not too hard of a trek throughout. Would recommend 😊
Would also recommend grabbing a map if there is one, easy to get lost though 😅

Amazing Gardens and Staff. Their journey to Recovery after a spate of Disasters such as Bush Fires, Flooding, Covid....is Exceptional ! What a Team Effort by Staff and so many Volunteers. Inspirational, showing the Best of Regional Australian Spirit. 🤗

It is so peaceful to walk thru the gum trees on the many tracks that are available. Then you could have a coffee at the cafe, or browse the gift shop.

These gorgeous gardens get better every time! Staff have worked so hard on bringing the gardens back to their former glory, before the devastating bushfires, and their hard work is paying off. Each time there are new sections to explore. The cafe is also wonderful, I encourage trying the scones with jam and cream! Will definitely be back 😊

Rebuilt after the fires with some examples of the heat effects and devastation on display in the visitor centre and in the gardens. Great to see the forest recover. Good coffee in the cafe, variety of good stuff in the gift shop and a kangaroo or two on the lawn if you are lucky. No entry fee is a surprise so a donation is in order. Tap to donate would be good.

Well kept, more signage than other gardens I've visited. Good focus on native flora. Green track was confusing to follow. Staff were friendly.

Very well planned space. Great idea to have individually identified native plants both in the gardens and for sale. The cafe was well organised and staffed. The shop had interesting giftware. Purchased some "rusted" garden sculptures that look great in our greenery.
