I took my three primary school aged daughters on a 1 hour trail ride with proprietor Christine. She was very knowledgeable and made my girls feel very confident. She clearly cared for her horses and we had a great time. We will be back for some lessons and more rides! Highly recommended.

The most stunning scenery and very relaxed horses. Highly recommend it for beginners through to experienced riders like myself that just want to enjoy a trail with friends.

Avoid at all costs! I had booked a surprise 2hr trail ride for my friends 30th on Saturday Jan 21st. I booked this in advance on Nov 22nd the year prior. Initially the lady seemed easy enough to deal with, told me the date was locked in and I paid my deposit. The Friday the day before before the ride I sent the owner a message as I’d had no correspondence since booking to check all was ok. This message was sent before 8am. I had heard nothing so at 4pm that evening I called the mobile number attached to Braeside. A lady picked up and when I enquired about our trail ride the next day she said “oh I think I’ll have to cancel that, I’m busy now I can call you back in an hour” and abruptly hung up on me. I waited the hour and of course no call back. I messaged both the number and their Facebook page to ask what was going on and again, no response. At 9:27pm the day before the ride was booked I got a message saying “Hi, sorry we’ve had a personal issue” and that the ride could not go ahead. I appreciate issues happening but surely you let people know before 9.30pm the night before! I was beyond disappointed by the communication and the utter lack of apology I received cancelling last minute. The lady I spoke to on the phone was beyond abrupt and the message I received very blunt! The next issue was then getting my deposit back. Half a week later I had still received nothing until I pressed further. The most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. Do not waste your time!
