The atmosphere, food and beer was fantastic! As soon as I walked inside I was reminded of being home in Yorkshire, UK. I’ve lived in Adelaide for a while so not sure why it took so long for me to visit, but I will be back again and again! Amazing staff and music too :)

Have lived in the area for many years, always drove past lol, but today I went for lunch and it was amazing, loved the atmosphere and the amazing menu

This is one of the best pubs in Adelaide. A great experience of an English pub and my English in laws love it too. The food is absolutely amazing, particularly the pies. Wonderful outdoor seating for a warm Sunday afternoon and cosy interior when it's cold and rainy. The staff are so friendly. I've never had a bad experience here in the 20 years I've been going there.

We loved the trio of pies! The chicken schnitzel was also good and cooked to the perfect crispness. I'm not sure what's in the Firkin Special Gravy but boy, is it delicious and different!

The atmosphere is really neat with all the English memorabilia. However, it can get quite noisy inside. There is outdoor seating for nice days!

I've never been to UK but I am of the strong belief that the Fox & Firkin absolutely nails the authentic UK pub vibe. The cuisine and beers combined with the historic building (that was once a flour mill built in the 1800s) really makes you feel like you've stepped into the English countrysides local. Food was fantastic, notable mention for the kids meals. Loved it and will be returning... regularly.

What a place. Magnificent meals. Great beer choices. Friendly staff.
Went on a Sunday, plenty of people in the garden and some live music too. Played at the right volume. It’s got a real family feel and plenty of people know each other.
Dogs are welcome and everyone loves the puppies.
Meals are huge and bigger than most can eat.

This is such a great pub. We went on a sunny Saturday lunch and it was busy but we managed to enjoy the beer garden over a pint or two of bitter.
Really chilled and genuinely friendly staff.
The menu is varied…. Typical English pub grub, but done really well. The Yorkshire Pudding was sensational.
I only wish they did breaded Scampi with chips and peas…..then I’d really feel lI was in England!

Lovely place, Fun atmosphere. Staff are always attentive and polite. Food is great! Pies are always amazing. But if you want good food, you have to pay the price, so be warned as this isn't your local boring pub with a $20 frozen snitz. Its worth it though!

This pub has a great atmosphere, NO pokies and lovely ambience.
The food is a cut above the usual pub feed with a few different things on the menu.
Service is very good and a good selection of beers available. Well worth a visit and would recommend!

Seriously this is probably one of the best pubs I have been to in Adelaide. They have pretty great range of English beers with some amazing views. The outdoor are is great especially if you want to bring your dog for a beer and a meal. The inside of the bar is absolutely amazing, it is so warm and welcoming, full of coasters attached to the ceiling and soccer jumpers and scarves. The food here is absolutely delicious, everyone on our table had no complaints about their food. It is a bit expensive for pub food but honestly it is one of the best. I highly recommend you come and check out this place.

Fabulous English style pub in the foothills of the Adelaide hills, great decor, range of beers and massive menu of good old pub grub, worth a visit ✅

The menu is a touch more expensive than other pubs but it's absolutely worth it. Epic sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding, great pies, good fish n chips and all very sizeable portions. The desserts were tasty as well. They don't have menus so take a photo of the chalk board.

Went for dinner. Food was good. Had the trio of pies with chips. Couldn't eat it all. Others at my table also enjoyed the food. Beers? Very good. Had two pints of Old Peculiar. Other offerings include Old Speckled Hen, Hobgoblin and Stella. Decor is an interesting mix of beer mats and football shirts. Would happily visit again but it's a long way for me.

Always the best UK beers on tap, fabulous service and yummy food. Only fault I can say is the Yorkshire puddings have changed, overcooked and dry, and not as fluffy as they used to be!

Roast Lamb with Yorkshire Pudding was what I had and it exceeded expectations.

Shared a Chip Butty with Curry Sauce. That curry sauce was sooo English and so good. 😂

One of Adelaide’s greatest little hidden gems. We were pleasantly surprised by a cover band who played some great tunes after our dinner, which was definitely the highlight.
We indulged in the lamb shank parcel and beef parmigiana (not traditional, I know!). The gravy with the lamb was divine. In fact the quality of both meals was certainly by no means what you’d normally expect from any old pub - credit to the chef. The meals came out super quick, and, accompanied by some tasty beers, made for a lovely Saturday evening.
