Footbridge Cafe

We have returned to Footbridge cafe after having an amazing breaky here a couple of years ago and it did not disappoint! The food is delicious, generous and fresh. The service is exceptionally great, such friendly staff. We will be returning on our next holiday, may even opt to stay on Brunswick Heads just so we can be walking distance.

The perfect place to start your day! We loved the outdoor seating, shade sails, coffee and yummy breakfast. Had scrambed eggs on sour dough with greens and Jacks Breakfast - poached eggs, haloumi, spinach. Staff were friendly and we liked the whole vibe.

Awesome food, location and service. I’d give them six stars out of five if I could, I had the eggs Benedict for breakfast and it was the nicest I have ever had with everything being done perfectly and super delicious. The staff were super friendly and down to earth and the service fast and efficient. The location is perfect for a sunny outdoor breakfast with the beautiful Brunswick waterways and parks straight across the road with a hive of outdoor activities going on.
I highly recommend Footbridge Cafe in Brunswick Heads as one of the Northern Rivers essential experiences, have breakfast followed by a short walk over the footbridge across the river to the surf beach up to the breakwater and back along the main bridge and stunning waterways…bring your swimmers.

My friend and I had breakfast there three days in a row. The food was spectacular every time and worth the wait. The staff were incredible. They were attentive, welcoming and on the second day when we came back they remembered us and what we ordered,I it is those little things that make such a huge difference with your dining experience.I highly recommend the Footbridge Cafe and I will be going back.

We called in visiting the area on holidays. It's definitely a recommended cafe in Brunswick Heads and we will revisit.

My husband and I had both breakfast and lunch at Footbridge cafe while visiting Brunswick Heads. We loved the meals, juices and coffee. We particularly enjoyed the burger which came with potato skin fries that were delicious, the green juice and the scrambled eggs which were infused with house made green curry paste. The service was also excellent on both occasions, all staff were welcoming and friendly.

We sat down at 2pm and were very quickly served by a lovely staff member. By 2:30pm we had had our drinks, and meals and we were on our way. All the staff there were so lovely and friendly and the overall atmosphere of the place was amazing. Could not recommend it more 🫶🏻

Amazing and tasty food with generous portion size! I recommend the curry scrambled eggs and the fresh juices. The staff is really friendly and the view is beautiful as well! I will definitely come back 🫶🏻☕

Wonderful experience here at Footbridge Cafe! The service is amazing and the outdoor seating is lovely. We got the smashed avocado but it was super difficult to make a decision! Everything looked and sounds too good! I’ll definitely come back. The smashed avocado was one of the best I’ve had. The entire staff is friendly and helpful with answering questions. They are also accommodating to any dietary restrictions!

Will definitely come back to try more of the menu! The cookies and cream pancakes are next on my list!!

Excellent food and drinks, including some of the tastiest bacon I’ve ever had, and a delicious dairy-free mango smoothie.

We went three days in a row, and the quality of food and service was impeccable every time. The staff are so friendly and genuine.

Hard to find adequate superlatives to describe my experiences here. Incredible. Customer service was out of this world! (special mention to Cam and Luce). Went for lunch on a Tuesday and served by Cam. Returned for takeaway coffee on Wednesday morning and was greeted by name by Cam, and again Wednesday lunch and was greeted by name by Luce... Coffee and juice were great (chai, latte and red juice). Food was superb!!! (beef burger and pumpkin salad).
I am a Queenslander through and through but will definitely cross the border to come here again!!!

A gem in Brunswick Heads, busy, vibrant.great food great coffee.service friendly and professional,we so enjoyed our visit good prices, lucky enough to be seated near kitchen as staff leader orchestrated staff like a maestro,.such a well oiled team , very impressive and entertaining.Best run cafe ever been to. Plus table service.

Cuutest little cafe ever with the yummiest food!!
Their menu is adapted for everyone, if you want something healthy, a butger or prefer something in between!
The portions are very generous and colourful! It was so yummy! Wether you are Vegan, Vegetarian GF or DF they have options for everyone! Its also very nice to have a nice almond GF (Paleo) bread too not just your typical white GF bread full of chemical!
Service is amazing, every staff memeber is super smily, friendly a d very very kind!

Amazing breakfasts and delicous coffee. Nice healthy menu. Loved it. The service from the waiter was outstanding and we only got takeaway. I could imagine if we sat down there we would of been blown away with how he did his job. I wish I knew his name because he really needs to be recognised for his professional approach.

Food was unbelievable, coffee was top notch and customer service was super friendly and professional. Nick is a cool dude.

My local sister recommend I visit as I love a 'good' coffee ! So I caught up with big table of family which they were happy to accommodate! The pancakes,banana bread,smoothies and coffee was ordered.All was delicious fresh,generous and yummy meals. I had banana bread and it was better than all, banany fresh loaf lumps of fruit and nut. Sooo good! Coffee excellent but the standout was the service, cannot compliment our waiter enough he was so professional.Warm knowledgeable,accommodating and efficient! To top it off he even walked to the park to return a hat to our group. Legend!! Thanks Footbridge was so lovely for my mini break!!

Fabulous cafe in BH - food excellent - had curry scrambled and three “Fun Guy” (forgot the pics again) - coffee great too not to forget the juices and the fabulous Ebony who looked after us
