Buckley's Crossing Hotel

Wonderful hotel!
Myself and my 2 brothers arrived on our motorbikes in the afternoon, Sharon and Belinda were so accommodating and made up 2 rooms for us at short notice.
The rooms were absolutely wonderful, very large and luscious!
The bathrooms also very very nicely appointed.
Wonderful art and decorative rooms to relax on as well as the lovely balcony that wraps around the pub.
We have travelled through many country towns and I can say without hesitation this wonderful pub is on the top of our list!
And the Greek salad was sensational!
Thank you, we will most certainly be back!

Stayed here on a overnight ski trip. didn't want to be in Jindabyne. what a lovely little friendly hotel. rooms were excellent ! large , clean, renovated and nice. breakfast included
- cereals and toast. but it was all we needed ! lovely atmosphere. bar was good fun, cozy warm and friendly. full of locals but they didn't mind us ring-ins ! loved their Gluhwein, made me feel like i was in EU skiing ! made for a great trip. Food was good and cheap. overall an excellent little hotel and highly recommended !

Great country pub drinks are cold, prices are good, and the locals are friendly.

Always a lovely lunch here. During snow season or summer season. Good service, tasty food and cold beer.

Food is a great feed, been happy every time

Such a great place to stay - we hadn't even heard of this place when we booked it for a stay at the snow when everything else was booked out. We were surprised at how absolutely gorgeous the rooms were, impeccably clean, and beds so comfortable. Each bed had an electric blanket, and the room was heated. It was a little noisy as it's part of a pub, but that was part and parcel, and the noise died off by 10pm when we were heading to bed. Very clean shared facilities (shower etc), and free brekky included in the morning (toast, cereal, coffee etc).
Dinner was absolutely delicious - a typical country pub menu, but so well executed. Some of the best crumbed cutlets and soup I've ever had. We will 100% be staying again. A big thank you to Sharon for taking our booking and helping us to our room. Country hospitality at its finest. We will definitely be staying again!

Excellent country pub, food is awesome.

This is a traditional Australian country pub. Has an old fashioned feel to it. Very clean and well kept. Many different bar and eating areas both inside and outside. Plea that if parking in and around. Prices super reasonable and staff were really friendly and down to earth. Toilets clean and very well looked after. Interesting photos and other paraphernalia to look at. If you are out this way definitely worth a stop for a drink and or a feed.

Staff friendly, well groomed and helpful with any inquires.
Great range of food and beer along with other beveriges.
Food well proportioned, fresh and great presentation. Value for money menu and one of the best Traditional Australian hamburgers I have had in a long time.

Staff are so nice and locals are really friendly

Friendly service in a historic location. Generous servings of tasty pub food. This place is a must if you’re in the area. Sit out in the courtyard if it’s a good day.

We had sirloin steak / salad, and pork belly salad. They were both beautifully cooked, tender, with fantastic salad.
Locals were friendly, helpful real country people and fun!
Beer was good too!

Love this pub. Good old country pub. Great selection of cold beer. An old historical pub set in the cute lil town of Dalgety. Great pub food. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Certain nights they have live bands so you may need your dancing shoes. Visiting this pub is a must. 10/10

Just came here for lunch, amazing food, friendly service, very nice smelling establishment. Rustic and traditional atmosphere. Would 110% go here again.

The best country pub to stay in AND the best food. Even when it's packed the food is still up to a high standard. I love this place!!!

This hotel has had its rooms revamped and look great. The new owner is a chef so the food is above average and attracts guests from all over. The only suggestion I had for the owner is to put some fans in the rooms as they are very stuffy in warm weather.

Jan 2019 - A real gem in the middle of nowhere that we have called into for the past four years on our yearly motorcycle ride. Well appointed bar, and various dining areas plus accommodation. Friendly staff who are up for a chat. On this visit there were plenty of people having a meal. We only stopped for a short break. Photos uploaded.

A lot of people at the hotel for lunch. A good menu with great food and very friendly staff. There are a couple of little rooms and we shared with other people.
