Snowy River Holiday Park

It was an excellent experience for our group of 29. Despite the heavy rain on Christmas day onwards we had a quality time together ❤. Lloyd and the crew keep this place nice and supper clean. They all are very friendly and supportive make us feel welcomed. Well equipped kitchen and clean hot shower were great addition for campers using non powered sites. Thanks Snowy river camping park for making our Christmas holidays memorable. 😍

I recently stayed at Snowy River Holiday Park, and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled by the tranquil Snowy River, the surroundings were a picturesque blend of green pastures. The serenity of the location made for a truly peaceful and calm retreat. The amenities were top-notch, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. If you're seeking a quiet getaway surrounded by nature's beauty, this is the perfect spot. Five stars all the way!

The greenest grass I've seen in such a long time! Lloyd is lovely and full of knowledge of the local area. Quiet caravan park, super clean amenities, grounds are beautiful, and right on the Snowy River, just perfect!

A hidden gem 🤩 A fantastic and well equipped caravan park with clean and functioning amenities, The staff are absolutely delightful as well as the owner.

Dog 🐶 friendly, so we were able to bring our fur baby along with us on our holiday.

Enjoyed walking around Dalgety right near snowy river, and under 30 minutes to Jindabyne.

There are some great attractions nearby, including wineries and local microbreweries.

We (eight familes of 29 members) did camping at this holiday park and recommend whoever interested. They got cabins too. Very clean amenities and super friendly customer service. Whole camp ground is green and well maintained. We were able to experience flash flooding of Snowy River which is very rare.

Good sized caravan park with powered and unpowered sites and many cabins, which can sleep 4. The owner Lloyd is great and very helpful. We camped here a few years ago and the old owners were not nice. The snowy river flows through on one side of the park and is great for swimming and kayaking in. Lovely temperature in summer. The cabin didn’t have air con but it kept cool as it was in the shade constantly, being under the large poplar trees. Lovely tiny town to wander around. There’s also a great little playground across the road for young kids. Pub is good too, and there’s a coffee van across the road which opens early in the morning. There’s a microbrewery 15 mins away which was great. Will be back 😊

If you are wanting to stay somewhere that is so beautiful on the Snowy River and so quiet where People are so friendly, book in for a stay and the Manager Lloyd is very helpful and the park amenities are beautifully clean.
Lloyd is so caring that he takes time to ask what you like to do like, skiing, mountain bike riding, fishing or just staying in a beautiful quiet place to relax.
Lloyd is so helpful and makes time to tell you about the town and any other advice.

The amenities and park are spotless and if you are a skier he even has a drying room for your wet clothing after skiing.
It is only a short 50 minute drive to any of the snowfields and there is also the amazing Pub Buckleys across the road for beautiful meals.
I love staying at Snowy River Park and will definitely be back again.

Dalgety caravan park is a hidden oasis. This exceptionally well maintained and clean caravan camping ground is managed by owners who truly care. Set amongst popplers trees on the banks of the snowy river and away from all the fuss of everyday modern life, this is a place where you can safely unwind. This facility has really well stocked communal areas and the communal showers, recently renovated are clean and well maintained. We have camped here during Easter time and during snow season. During snow season, the owners would turn on the heaters for us at 4.30pm everyday so we would come back to a warm place and the communal shower area also has a heater to keep it warm. The local pub is the perfect place to have a meal after a long skiing day. We highly recommend this tourist park. It is a little gem.

This is an awesome park with absolutely spotless amenities, fantastic camp kitchen with all the equipment you could need, beautiful swimming spot with a rope swing and really convenient to Thredbo and Jindabyne. Pub across road is gorgeous and the owner was fabulous. We will be back!

Fantastic little hidden peace of paradise on the banks of the snowy river. Cabins were well equip and very clean. Llyod is a gem himself. So accommodating and knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to return to the Snowy River Holiday Park.

Absolutely STUNNING caravan park! Lovely and quiet and the river is just beautiful. Very lovely hosts too and exceptionally clean amenities.

A bit out of the way but what a great little spot! Its very quiet and serene, lovely grassed sites next to the river. Very clean amenities, no dump site tho. Lesley at reception was warm and friendly. Would definitely stop by again. Thank you Lesley! 😊

This place is so beautiful. Lloyd the manager is so nice and helpful. I could easily spend a month here. The river is so beautiful to cool off for a swim. The power site we had for our camper was plenty big enough and even though we came when full had lots of space
