Dumpling YumCha

This would have to be the most genuine Asian restaurant in the area. The chef greets you as you enter from his kitchen, visits you and asks about your meal at your table. The staff are pleasant, courteous and attentive.
The restaurant is clean, cosy for a couple and casual enough for a family or group of friends.
The food is excellent, a small menu but good variety and good portion sizes as in the pics.
We love it and keep returning.

Great little restaurant off the main street, delicious, freshly cooked food and the chilli jam is homemade. Cosy atmosphere with super friendly staff. Will definitely be a regular:)

First place I go to eat every time I visit Ballina. Food is amazing and the owners are beautiful people.

We did find it slightly expensive for what you get. Yet being in a regional area with prices going up, i can understand where they are coming from.

Having grown up in Hong Kong and travelled through China for a few months I can honestly say that this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Northern Rivers that I've been to. Don't expect the usual Chineses food modified for Australian's taste. This is the real deal and is created with great experience and flair :)

Delicious and freshly cooked. Fantastic service and very clean all round! Highly recommend the scallop dumplings, they were delicious. Best Chinese I've had in Australia.

Lovely modern Chinese Cafe with authentic Chinese food. Short menu with daily updates based on fresh and local ingredients, such as Bangalow Pork. Run by a family and wife team originally from Yangzhou (famous for its fried rice!) seems very popular with locals.

Fresh and authentic, definitely some of the best I've ever had, hard to find this quality even in major cities. Gao Fei a culinary master, and a lovely guy too.

The best gyozas around and fresh local ingredients. Highly recommend!
