RJ'S CAFE

Recommended by a local to try out this cafe for lunch. Ordered the hamburger lunch special, hamburger, chips and drink for $15. Burger was great, the usual takeaway shop style done right. Chips not so great but the chicken salt made it edible. Not bad value and a cosy place to eat indoor and outdoors.

What we have here is a precious diamond up in our little corner of the world. Do not let the people from the cities find out about this place or you'll need to book a table 3 weeks in advance.

To say that the food was wonderful, the service genuinely pleasant and that the atmosphere was like a perfect little garden tea house as picturesque as the movies is doing this place a disservice...

I love this place and I will be back.

Dropped in Sunday morning for late breakfast. Ordered Eggs Benedict with bacon & a big breakfast for me $36
+ Pot of tea & cappuccino $8 i think.
The service was great the gurl was by herself so we expected to wait
5 minutes latr & it was on table she said sorry for the wait...wow if that was a wait well be back next week.

Great place to stop and fill the belly, plenty of seating for various size groups, as well as a nice outdoor area.
Staff were very friendly and the coffee and food was spot on.
The Big Brekky will keep us going for a good while.

What an awesome find! Such a gorgeous cafe with a variety of seating areas but the best thing about this cafe is the food and the staff. Great value for money, strong coffee and friendly, helpful staff.

What an amazing breakfast. The lovely lady who took our orders and served our meals was really respectful of my dietary restrictions, which I appreciate so much 🥰
The best Egg Bennadict I have ever eaten. I kid you not.
The sauce was perfectly balanced and not overpowering, the egg was cooked perfectly and it was on an English muffin with avacardo and spinach - perfect!
It didn't need any salt or pepper.

I ordered an Earl grey tea which came in an adorable little teapot!
This mention comes with a polite reminder - when visiting this place, please do NOT steal the teapots.
The lovely lady loves her teapots.
It is VERY rude to steal.

Anyway, Hubby ordered a Big Brekkie and wasn't disappointed.
He said it was the best breakfast he has had out in a long time.
He only didn't finish his meal because he was genuinely full... something he NEVER does when we are out for a meal.

If I could give this place a higher rating than 5 stars, I absolutely would. 10 stars from me!

The staff are always cheerful, they go out of their way to accommodate you even if you call up one minute til closing time. The food is always great, the schnitzel is prepared in-house, not some processed mass produced rubbish. My go to is the plain burger meal, very consistent, always get the same fresh standard and great taste!

Beautiful space, friendly staff and plenty of tasty gluten free options! Would highly recommend!
