Really nice 360 degree panoramic view from the lookout.
The informational signs and notes are a bit faded but you can still read most of them.
There is a car park at the bottom of the mountain where you need to take an approx 700 metres long walk up the hill.
Although the road is paved it is really steep at the end so factor that in case you have a pram, small children or having difficulties to walk up or down hill.

I have driven past this place on many occasions, so decided it was time to take the time and drive on up and check out the place. Great views of the Glass House Mountains.

A short steep walk for 360º degree uninterrupted views of the Glass House Mountains to your west, uninterrupted views of the Sunshine Coast. This walk starts at the southern end of the car park up the cement road, and all the way up to the top, approximately 700m one way. You'll walk past casuarinas, grass trees and eucalypts. On your way you might be lucky to see kookaburras, wagtails and dragonflies.

Put on heaps of bug spray as there are lots of mosquitoes and midges.

Such beautiful spot for sunset, a steep climb up, 10 mins from car park

The best landscape photo op for sunrise/set on the Sunshine Coast, all you need is your mobile. Believe me when I say the place is so gorgeous any photo you take will have the wow factor.
Bit of fitness needed to get to the rotunda but well worth the struggle. An amazing feeling of serenity is the best way I can describe Wild Horse.

Best time to visit is just before sunset. 123m elevation within 700m walk, which is quite steep. Just take your time, one step at a time. Better viewpoint compared to the Glass House Mountains lookout, in my opinion.

Fabulous views from the top of the lookout and very highly recommended when the weather is good! The walk upwards is quite steep and takes about 10 minutes. There's a small amount of shade from the trees on the route up, and whilst dogs are allowed, it's worth checking the floor temperature ahead of ascending. There's a shaded seating area at the lookout with stunning views all around. Great location for launching a drone for some aerial shots, and the car park is plentiful, although quite rugged.

Fantastic views after a short but steep walk on concrete path. The tower itself could do with some freshening up....

Family-friendly walk with beautiful 360° views of the glasshouse mountains and surrounds. The concrete path has a slightly steep slope at some parts.

The view was amazing we walked about 15 minutes to get there, but it was worth it.

Great 360 degree views from the fire watchtower at the top. Plenty of parking at the bottom. Although not a long walk, it's a very steep walk up the concrete pathway with minimal cover. There are map depictions in the roof of the tower making identifying areas somewhat easier. You can see out to the Glasshouse Mountains as well as out to Caloundra and Bribie Island, even as far as Brisbane. Amazing to see a different perspective of all the pine plantation forest.

750 meters from carpark to lookout. Super awesome view. Some said the carpark is sketchy so I went making sure no valuables in car but there was no problems on a Sunday morning. Very cool.

Beautiful place! It’s a steep 10-15 minute walk to reach the top but it’s completely worth it.

Amazing view of the glasshouse mountains. Steep walk of 700m but if you take it easy you will be ok. Worth it for the view

I did read the reviews before, but it was a bit steeper, thank i though it will be. It is doable though. While i was walking up, the rain started spitting a bit though and i was worried, if the way back is going to be slippery, as it was like road (see photos). With the rain there was a beautiful rainbow. The view is very nice. I saw a couple of dogs so must finally be a place they allow dogs, which is good.
No toilets or bins again.

Another nice easy walk on the Coast.
Worth to visit. Beautiful view.. I think would be nice visiting on the winter. Summer it's pretty hot due to the steep walk.

Great 360 degree views of Caloundra, Bribie and Moreton Island and the Glass House Mountains.
700m walk up a constant incline which is a wide concrete track.
Viewing tower at the top with plenty of information about the local area. (pity about the vandalism and graffiti).
If you are lucky, you might spot a python or two.
