Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve

Wonderful walk in a unique wetland area with our walking group. Despite it being low ish tide the beach walk was tiring due to the angle of the beach but the rest was relatively easy with beautiful views over the bay and wetlands. Most enjoyable with a coffee locally to end the day

Stunning walk. No-incline, easy amble through nature. Solid path (sand, shell grit, dirt) all the way through the woodland - and sometimes a boardwalk over the marshes. Loads of gorgeous little birds (red-browed finch, willy wagtails, fairy wrens, green silvereyes). Plus thrushes and seabirds flying over. Loads of samphire carpeting the marsh. Altogether very wholesome.
