Had the best 3 weeks in Tassie, I hired the Renault Master and it was an absolute dream to drive! Kim went above and beyond with all the questions I had both over the phone in weeks prior and also upon pickup. Pickup and drop off was a breeze, highly recommend adding the linen package for those freezing mornings. Huge credit to Ken and the whole LeisureRent team for providing affordable, clean, comfortable vehicles as well as amazing customer service. I'd definitely hire again, couldn't fault it. A+

LeisureRent provided an exceptional camping van rental experience for our trip in Tasmania.

Their customer service was truly unbelievable, with unmatched responsiveness and a willingness to accommodate changes seamlessly. The team was incredibly kind and easy-going, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the van was brand new and well-equipped with everything we needed for our adventure.

Overall, we were highly satisfied with LeisureRent and would recommend them for anyone planning a camping trip in Tasmania.

LeisureRent was excellent for our trip around the north of Tassie.

Picked up and dropped off at Launceston, with a complementary bus to / from the airport at both ends. The car was in great nick and drove very nicely.

The team and their customer service were also excellent.

When I'm back in Tasmania next I will be using LeisureRent's services again!

The price is incomparable; amazing value for money. The team pick you up from the airport once you land (just call them) and they were very helpful with spots to check out in Tasmania. When we come back, we will definitely be using LeisureRent again!

We hebben een fantastische reis door Tasmania gemaakt met de 4x4 camper van Leisure Rent. De camper was zeer compleet. De service was geweldig. Ze brachten ons zelfs naar het vliegveld na het inleveren van de camper. Wij kunnen Leisure Rent aan iedereen aanbevelen!

We picked up our motor home for a week in Tasmania. Immediately we were rudely greeted by the lady at front reception. The lady at front reception (blonde hair) was rude, arrogant and unprofessional.
On return date we received a call at 9am stating the car needed to immediately be returned and was due at 8am In which we informed we were told it was okay to drop off at 9:30. Upon drop off the front reception lady was again very rude. We informed her we had 0 gas from the first night and that we the customers had fixed the fuses in the van as the toilet and PowerPoints were not working from pickup. The lady was argumentative and rude stating “it was working when you picked up” in which we assured her it was not. She remained the be argumentative and rude, there was no thank you for fixing the van.
We were informed by the lady upon pick up if you run out of gas just “go to a swap and go and you will be reimbursed” giving the impression they were aware there was no gas upon pickup.

We did call the owner who was very polite, thankful and offered to reimburse us for the fuses.

Regrettably, our experience with Leisure Rent left us quite dissatisfied. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our trip to Tasmania due to my father's impending passing. We had booked our trip some months earlier and were not to know that his illness would progress so rapidly. In our time of distress, Leisure Rent displayed a notable lack of empathy and declined our request to reschedule our booking for a future date. We were not seeking a refund but simply wanted to retain our reservation until we could embark on our journey.

Leisure Rent informed us that they couldn't find an alternative renter for the specific van we had intended to hire, resulting in the forfeiture of our $2000 payment. Given this disappointing experience, we have no intentions of utilising their services for our future Tasmania travel plans, and warn others to beware.

Business hours says till 4.30pm. We arrived at 4pm to find out they've already gone home. Unprofessional at Hobart.
