This is the best riding school in the area that my daughter has been too. Marie is an amazing instructor and my daughter is learning so much more than she has ever learnt from anywhere else. The facilities are fantastic and all of the ponies and horses are kept in immaculate condition. We are very happy to have found Paloma.

I agisted my two horses at Paloma and had a fantastic experience! The facilities are great, Marie and Alain are super helpful and the other agistee’s are all lovely. My daughter did a few lessons with Marie and she is a great coach too.

Marie is the best! My daughter has advanced so much in such a short amount of time since beginning the Saturday classes. Can tell the horses are well cared for and also bred with a bloodline of fantastic temperament. I always know my daughter is safe & she always looks forward to her next lesson

I am a 50+ year old rider and have been taking lessons at Paloma since last September. I have progressed more in those few months than I had in many years prior resulting in a lack of confidence after a few bad falls. If you want to ride one of their horses they are all very well trained and are safe and dependable, and you are also more than welcome to bring and ride your own horse for lessons, clinics and any other group gatherings/activities. I have been to a few riding schools over the years and this one is very well organised and run extremely well. It is professional yet fun, safety is a top priority and the facilities are great. From agistment paddocks, stables, wash bays, round yard, riding track and also direct access to beautiful trails and last but not least the absolutely fantastic flood lit indoor 60 x 20 sand arena. Everything you could possible need is at your disposal. The centre runs like clockwork and it is a very welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere in which both you and your horse can relax and learn. The owner Marie, is easy going, approachable and understanding of her clients needs, and what they require as individuals to reach their own personal goals. I thoroughly enjoy every single lesson and am grateful that I found this wonderful place to continue to improve my horse training and horse riding skills. Thank you Marie and Paloma Equestrian Centre, and here’s to a big year ahead.

This afternoon my Granddaughter & her bestie finished their holiday with us , having a riding lesson from Marie, both girls having limited experience in riding BUT loved & njoyed every moment !

Narnia wants Marie to know her lesson was helpful, very clear & full of praise from her BUT when you did not listen she corrected you & you got it right, and riding improved & she came away grateful & informed. Her pony Cute was very safe & cute!

Shelby found Marie to be patient , kind & clear in her teachings , the pony was beautiful & she felt safe which helped her learn properly.

THANKYOU Marie for sharing your talents with Narnia & Shelby , until next time 💞👌

Paloma is an excellent agistment centre with amazing facilities, the indoor arena and stables, all agistees have their own tack rooms, lovely trails and a riding track for varied activities. My horse and I were so well accommodated at Paloma, owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure my horse was well looked after - would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to agist their horse with lovely people!

Simply the best place to learn horse-riding around Brisbane!

I have been riding for more than 15 years, I also have a European background, and we are used to riding in equestrian centres in Europe where they own their horses.
I was very surprised to see that, most of the time, you need to buy your own horse and all the responsibilities that go with it when you start horse-riding as a beginner in Australia. There's a few places around Brisbane with horses but it is not really good quality teaching or skilled.

But then I found Paloma Equestrian centre. And not only they have well-cared horses, they are also trying to implement a real horse-riding school by teaching riding but also all the ground work and how to look after the horse.
A lot of people have actually no idea of what to do in some risky or complicated situations with their horses because... well, no one taught them or they didn't learn from riding different types of horses. And the lack of skills can become really dangerous...

So before you buy your own, go and learn from Paloma. The people are qualified coaches with competition background, they know what they talk about.
The place also offers a really good diversity of activities, from dressage to jumping, forest trails, track for trotting, private lessons, group lessons from beginners to advanced. It is also a lovely place, very quiet.
If you are a horse owner, Marie (the owner) will be more than happy to show you around. You can also leave your horse on-site or just rent the arenas.

Lessons are good quality, you will learn real horse-riding and develop good and strong equestrian skills.
They are also trying to develop groups of riders interested in competing and I have seen a lot of improvement within 6 months with the young ones.

Go Paloma! You are doing a good job!

Absolutely love Paloma Equestrian Centre and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to learn how to ride or agist a horse.
I came here one year ago as a beginner rider and took 2 lessons per week mostly riding the same mare every time. I quickly progressed and advanced to trot and canter. Marie guided me during my first canter lesson riding a wonderfully quiet and safe horse. She told me exactly what to do when cantering - so I felt safe and ready to have a go. Paloma's instructors are all very friendly and easy to get along with. Good horse-loving people with knowledge and experience.
My first canter experience was most enjoyable and I felt safe and looked after at all times. I could not have a better riding experience than at Paloma. I always go home with a big smile on my face.
All of PEC's horses are much loved and very well looked after.
I own my own horse now for 3 months and fully agist her at Paloma. I was given a very nice big grassy paddock with shelter, as well as a private tack room. It's a pleasure to ride my horse there also knowing that she is very well looked after when I am not there. Marie is very competent when it comes to horses and their needs. I would completely trust Marie with my horse - she even helped me check her out before I bought her. Right from day one, my mare was in good hands.
The facilities at PEC are wonderful. Both indoor and outdoor arenas are clean and a pleasure to use.
Paloma feels like a second home to me and I love every minute being there. It's a great place for riders of all levels.
Marie takes great pleasure in organizing events not only horse riding events, clinics, groundwork mornings, but also social events like the Ladies Morning. It's always fun to ride with the girls, have a chat afterwards and enjoy the French goodies that Marie makes herself. No doubt, Marie puts a lot of effort into those wonderful mornings ! You can tell that she loves what she does !
Thanks Marie - I have learned so much in that one year that I have been coming to Paloma. Keep doing what you do !

Both of my kids ride at PEC. The Connemara Ponies are an absolute delight. They really are perfect for any level rider. I have watched my kids develop from beginners to confident, capable young riders and my daughter has even started competing with the PEC team. The coaches are amazing and we have absolutely found our "Riding family". We highly recommend Paloma.
