New campsite on the new "Wild South Coast Way" hike from Cape Jervis to Victor Harbor. Hike in only though but only around 1km from Waitpinga Campground or 1.5km from Waitpinga Beach carpark.

Camp site is built amongst the scrub, so not too much of a view but some shade. Much quieter than the nearby drive in Waitpinga Campground.

Great facilities. Huge shelter to get out of the weather with 2 tables + benches, prep benches, kitchen sink, rain water (needs treating). Separate long drop toilets (2 of) that are the best I've seen. Plenty of water storage (3 x 5000L for the shelter & 2 x 5000L for the toilets) both were around 75% full when we camped there on 27 Jan 2023.
Only 10 campsites (max 20 people). All of them are clear patches of sand (not surprising considering its sand dunes) but the sites are nice and flat and level.
