John Crompton Reserve

Fabulous spot for a family get together - public toilets, outdoor shower, safe beach to kayak , fish or swim

Great little park.Plenty of parking space.The have seats and benchs for your food.Nice clean toilets.Rubbish bins are situated around the reserve.There is a little piece of beach so you can wade in the Encounter lake.They have a playground for the kids.It is a quite and serene spot with very little traffic to worry about.You can take your dog on the reserve but he must be on a lead.There are plenty of large trees on the reserve you are not short of shade.You should head down there and have a great day with the family.

Lovely reserve on a quiet beach. Had the place to ourselves leading up to Christmas. There are Park benches and a toilet block plus shower / taps. Dog loved it too though she wasn't allowed on the beach.

Calm water, sand, grass, a playground, BBQ, tables and benches, a toilet and a car park.. It has the lot. Great place for a kids party

Nice lakefront beach with a shower, playground for the kids and plenty of shade. Very busy on warm summers day.
