Mount French Lodge

Everything about Mount French Lodge was exceptional, and I couldn't have celebrated my birthday at a more beautiful place with family. We arrived to beautiful cocktails in the pavilion overlooking the green valley, followed by a delicious grazing platter of local goodies. Such a relaxed and special evening with dinner made from more local produce, all in the grand dining room. It was delicious and appeared so seamless, with the wonderful behind the scenes Managers, Malcolm and Barbara, who could not have done more to make this a birthday to remember. Our accommodation was first class, with first class views. A beautiful breakfast the next morning before we sadly had to leave. We wanted for nothing. Such a memorable experience which we have recommended to all our family and friends. We can't wait to return!

A terrific stay for my husband and I recently! We’d been keen to have a getaway here for sometime, so after spotting Laura Frank was planning to perform at the property the first evening of our stay, we thought it would be a great opportunity to hear a local Scenic Rim artist plus enjoy a little time of R&R.
We certainly weren’t disappointed! From start to finish we were warmly welcomed and cared for by Neil and Pauline. We had the added pleasure of their focussed attention due to being the only guests on the property for the second night.

All the accommodation looks fabulous. We had the pleasure of staying in the new wing that’s tastefully designed and decorated to well suit the environment.

What magnificent views of the mountain range and surrounding farmlands. Mount French Lodge is a private retreat with all the trimmings! The accommodation is excellent and very well presented. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The meals are prepared and cook with love! Overall, excellent and memorable time there.

Mount French Lodge was a perfect place to celebrate our youngest daughter, Erin's 40th birthday with us, her parents, sisters and husbands for the weekend. The views, fireplace, pool and the many lovely areas to relax and enjoy our time together was amazing. Many thanks to our hosts, Pauline for the amazing dining experience, the generousity of her time and Neil for ensuring we experienced the beauty of Mount French Lodge the walks, the night time firepit and other activites. Such a special weekend for our family.

Mt French Lodge, such a special place to get away to! We had a wonderful stay with friends, greeted on arrival by the lovely Sophie & James with a welcome drink in the new pavilion capturing incredible views & watching the sunset to end the day.
The Lodge is beautifully set into the countryside to instantly relax into a lovely evening with friends, beautiful food and a very comfortable setting. The accommodation is amazing, so comfortable and capturing a vista to wake to and watch as the day goes by. A very special place to getaway to, will definitely be planning a return trip again soon!

Outstanding service and place to stay, and our hosts we’re suburb! We had the most amazing experience staying in this wonderful place that is Mount French Lodge. Not only a stunningly beautiful and scenic location, but wonderful accommodation, food and beverages. Our super friendly and lovely hosts, Sophie and James were brilliant and made our stay really extra special. Nothing was too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. Highly recommended as a place and space to chill and unwind and to take in the wonderful tranquil atmosphere. We will be back 😊

Mt French lodge is an amazing place to spend time with your family and friends. It is like a private resort with a beautiful great room, swimming pool, pavilion and nice environment. It is a nice place to relax Watching the sun set while drinking and chatting with friends in the pavilion is very amazing.The view is spectacular .The beauty of nature around it is awesome.. Foods are delicious.And of course you'll be amazed with the hospitality of Sophie and James and all the Mt French lodge staff..

We had a wonderful afternoon and evening at Mount French Lodge recently. Such a beautiful place to relax. We were able to watch the sunset in the brand new pavillion while having drinks and a beautiful cheese board and homemade choc dipped honeycomb!
After a lovely shower overlooking the hinterland it was time for dinner which was delicious.
We had a birthday to celebrate and Sophie made a beautiful cake.
The accommodation was lovely and comfortable with an amazing outlook.
Breakfast was amazing and the only problem was we had to get back to Brisbane for work so couldn't spend more time there!

We had the most fabulous weekend at Mount French Lodge. It is such a relaxing venue and so private. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, a birthday celebration with your closest friends, or even a small working conference away from the office. The location high on the hill has the most spectacular views and outlook. Hire all 4 villas yourself and make a weekend of it. The venue is capped off with the fantastic service of the hosts Sophie and James who are always available but never intrusive. I really can't wait to get back there !

We had 2 glorious nights at this beautiful mountain lodge. The views are breathtaking! Never felt so relaxed and calm. Totally impressed with the fabulous meals - all in our own private resort.

We spent the most magnificant stay at Mt French, James and Sophie, the hosts were extremely hospitable. The location and view is to die for, the food delicious and the fact that you have this magic lodge to yourselves is a pefect for any event or getaway. Mount French Lodge is a heavenly location for couples planning to marry in the Scenic Rim. A warm welcome from the friendly hosts paired with luxury accommodation and breathtaking sunsets. We can't wait to come back!

This is a magnificent mountain retreat, where everything is included and the hospitality is world class. There's even a grand piano.
I was there with eight blokes, but I can't wait to do the short trip from Brisbane again with my wife and a few other couples.
