El Gordo Huntly

Burgers and coffee. As I don't drink coffee, I can't attest to that, but the burgers are some of the most deliciously juicy that I've ever had. A bit pricey, but the quality is there. The staff are amazing and happy to have a chat if you need.

For good burgers in Huntly this is the only place worth considering. Carls Jr is a joke and you get what you get at Maccas. Always great food and the staff seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs.

Best burgers in town! Tasty, come out hot, perfectly balanced flavours. My favourite is the classic cheeseburger with pickles and mustard. Bloody brilliant! Keep it up team - great service, helpful friendly staff, love the outdoor dining vibe. Outstanding!

1st time visiting and already confident on a few returns... great little outdoor dining area.. the sun shine was just perfect, added with some knitted knee throws... and patio heaters to ensure that still lingering chill in the wind didn't ruin the experience. Greeted inside by staff and offered indoor/outdoor when we mentioned eating in and brought menu's and water promptly. Days specials were explained and then left to browse our options. Variety of burgers to choose from is great, all ingredients are listed and didn't find it overloaded with too many options. I chose the nude burger 😀 grilled chicken, tomato, cheese, special sauce wrapped in lettuce... NO BUN!!! this was just perfect and the bf ordered a double cheese burger; that also looked great... we shared a large chips and the relish..... yum! My meal sizing was perfect, and accompanied by a mixed juice has absolutely left me a very happy dinner... I don't often do reviews, but this little local gem..... worth a visit for sure! I travel to the states nearly every year, and my first stop is always straight to 'in n out' for a double/double burger, El Gordo's range of burgers are right up there with the best burgers I have ever had, from Adelaide south Australia, to Anaheim southern California, I would give them 6 stars and x2 thumbs up, but I can only do 5 stars.

Loved the food except it didn't get served with chips as stated on menu. The plastic baskets they serve your food in may look very trendy are hard to navigate my knife and fork kept falling on the table not to mention trying to cut my burger in half was disastrous a plate would be easier thank you. Overall service was lovely and good food. Get rid of the silly red baskets please

Delicious burgers! It's our easy regular Friday night dinner sorted for us and enjoyed by our whole family. Plus a lovely place to sit for a cuppa with breaky or lunch. Come on locals, support this great business we have on our doorstep!!!

Stopped in quickly to use the laundromat next door. Great burgers, Spicy chicken delish and Cheeseburger with chips a definite winner. Great work ladies.

The lady serving us all was very friendly and welcoming to our group of 6 on Friday 7/10 for some breakfast, (pre my sons wedding later that day)..and same again when our wedding group of 12 re-visited again Saturday morning after the wedding…back again because of her excellent customer service, plus everyone on both days enjoyed the food very much, esp the special egg & bacon burgers, which were great….go back again for sure….sorry I didn’t grab her name…Cheers, Ron.

OMG…..seriously the best burgers EVER, well worth a few km’s to get. Fresh, delicious and so tasty and plenty of. Nothing in Bendigo compares.
