The Common Gloucester

We were picking up coffee on the way to Armidale over Easter. The queues here were intimidating but the staff ploughed through and produced two killer flat whites. It was so good we stopped and queued again on the way home. Worth the wait.

Thoroughly enjoyed a bacon and egg toastie with a cappuccino after a cool ride up from Newcastle.
There's so many cafes to choose from so I'm really glad I dropped in here.
Staff are lovely and there's a fantastic selection.
Will see you again!

Great coffee and friendly staff. Lots of local knowledge too which came in very handy on our visit. Relaxed outdoor seating which is close enough to the main street to see all the goings-on but set back so it’s nice and quiet. This is me new favourite coffee stop!

Why does Common get 15 stars? Every good café needs a northern aspect- with deciduous trees. In summer, a lovely shady space, in winter, the leaves fall and full sunlight! What more do you expect to add onto great coffee and great service? And hey! There is the library and a tourist information centre within one minute walk of this place. Get to it!

Best cafe in Gloucester! We loved breakfast so much at The Common we came back twice in one weekend. Amazing coffee by Single O and delicious food. Our favourite was the Ham and cheese Toastie and the Avocado toast with halloumi. Great vibe and spot to enjoy brekkie and enjoy the picturesque village of Gloucester. Beautifully curated selection of gifts inside too. Service was outstanding, and very good coffee! We can’t wait to come back. Add this place to your list when visiting the Barrington Tops!
