We had a 5 course champagne degustation lunch at Myrtille to see out 2023. The food was outstanding.
The use of locally sourced produce in all the dishes was a highlight as was the attention to detail in the presentation and in the service.
It's my favourite restaurant in South East Queensland.
Highly recommended

Amanda and her team hosted my 50 th Birthday dinner for 40 guests and every single person gave them 5 stars for the food, wine and the exceptional professional and personal service.

I highly recommend Myrtille Bistro for a large function, lunch or dinner. To be honest whatever this team does is faultless.

Try the little blueberry next door as well for the best coffee around and fabulous cakes and pastries.

A French-style inspired bistro in a small Queensland town. It's located in the Nolan's restored commercial building. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. All dishes ordered by our party came out impeccably hand-made and tasteful. I have the fish and chips. It was spectacular. The crumbed fish fillets were tasty with crispy chips. All dishes are well presented wuth an attention to detail. The olives served as an antipasto are available in jars at the shop next door.

If you have not popped over to Crows Nest for this little gem, have you even lived??? Myrtille (mur-tee, French word for blueberry) is a fantastic little restaurant about 40mins out of Toowoomba that boasts of locally sourced ingredients and it did not disappoint us! The food was fresh and presented beautifully. 5 star restaurant for such a quaint little town! Do yourself a favour and book a table! It’s 100% worth it.

Exceptional service and an inredible dining experience in a more formal but relaxed setting. Inside had an excellent feel to it. Even the bathrooms were pretty (and clean!!).
Our food was delicious, cooked to perfection with a lovely balance of flavours.
We also had a pram and there is a changing facility for babies.
We highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

We hadn't heard of Myrtille Bistro prior to our dinner and we were in for such a treat! Absolutely everything was amazing - ambience, service, food, wine pairing by the great sommelier. No wonder people travel to Crows Nest especially to dine here. Looking forward to our next experience in May, for a birthday dinner.

Best dining experience in Queensland by far!
Upon entering Myrtille you are greeted by the friendly team who you feel like your instantly welcome and comfortable!
The food: hard to say anything that will do justice to the culinary delicacies that emerge from this kitchen. 10/10
All in all our experience will be almost impossible to beat. Thoroughly recommend heading to Myrtille if you haven’t dined there yet, if you have you know what I mean 👌

My wife and I attended in a Sunday for a 3 course lunch service. We enjoyed a starter, entree and a main over 1.5-2 hours, accompanied by a couple glasses of wine.

To begin, the food was simply delightful. Portion sizes were excellent and the flavours across all dishes were superb. One of the wait staff spoke highly of the cauliflower florets (entree) and we couldn’t agree more with his review. Perhaps the most tasteful selection of the day.

The wait staff were exceptional and timed their interactions with us well; without unnecessarily checking in for our thoughts on the food. They were all exceptionally polite and well across the menu when we asked questions.

The atmosphere was good - high ceilings meant noise levels weren’t a problem. My thoughts for the owners would be to consider a some tweaking to the decor - namely the tables and perhaps seating. This felt a little on the cheaper end and more ‘pub like’ than an upmarket dining experience; which is how I would describe the overall dining experience.

We will most certainly be back.

We had a reservation for 10:15am on Sunday for brunch. I strongly recommend a reservation, as this is a very popular establishment.
We were greeted warmly upon arrival and our table was ready immediately. The staff were abundantly helpful and polite, as all being immaculately presented. This also transferred to the venue - the attention to detail was remarkable.
The decor was chic and stylish, without being overbearing g of kitsch.
The menu was amazing. I had real trouble deciding, but settled on the slow cooked ham hock, eggs and baked bean on brioche. My beautiful wife had salmon cakes.
Both were incredibly well presented and delicious. I was surprised at the harm hock - the triple smoking meant there was the occasional crisp edge.
The coffees were also good.
We finished well satisfied and were very surprised by how reasonable the bill ended up.
There was also an excellent bakery next door - I think this is also run by the same people. We stick our heads in and it also looked to be excellent.
Adjoining the bistro was a homewares store, an antique store, clothing shops and fresh produce.
This was a first rate experience that I recommend unreservedly/

We came and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast the day before mothers day. The food was excellent and coffee too. The service was impeccable, very attentive and friendly.

There are 3 seating options which I would suggest specifying in your booking. Inside tables, stools/bar at the window, or outside tables. They had knee rugs and gas heaters outside but it could be a little chilly.

Great ambience inside and I look forward to enjoying dinner here sometime.

One of the best restaurants in Queensland. I've been twice and both times, the menu was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive with a lovely bar and ambience inside.

Our first experience at Myrtilles. We traveled from Toowoomba for lunch. We heard about the restaurant from my sister who lives on the Sunshine coast. Great experience, great food, excellent service and very relaxing not rushed at all. I would highly recommend this beautiful place and will definitely go back. A real treat, loved it. Thank you. 💓

‘Twas a foggy, grey day when we headed out to Crow’s Nest for my birthday lunch. Thank goodness we’d booked, ‘cos lots of folks were being turned away, as the place was hopping – i.e. booked out. The building has been renovated beautifully; the restaurant has dark blue (blueberry like the name) walls with lovely lights. A bar runs along one side; there are tables inside and out, and don’t forget the patisserie next door! We ate: parmesan gougere with truffled egg and scallops for me, and hubby had housemade baguette with garlic thyme butter. Both were excellent, and I was very happy to have a wee bit of the 500 gram truffle from the Granite Belt. The eggs were creamy, the scallops were sweet, and his bread and butter was generous. We both chose the beef cheeks en daube, which was melt in your mouth, pull-apart with a spoon (yes they gave us a spoon too for the saucy bits). The Paris mash was divinely creamy and buttery and delicious, though I have to say the greens didn’t do anything for me. I thought they were a bit too crunchy, though hubby thought they were fine. I guess the dark green stuff was kale - the devil’s work  , so I left that to its own devices. Even though we were full, dessert was on the cards so I had an affogato with Frangelico, and I stole a few big spoonfuls of his white chocolate mousse with blueberries, and passionfruit and sponge, oh and a wonderful birthday sparkler! Service was wonderful, prompt, efficient and warm. The atmosphere was lovely, the décor was sophisticated, and the food Frenchy and fabulous. We had a wonderful time. (The toilets are interesting with a plethora of choices, as I said to hubby when he went off after me. At least the urinal was in a cubicle, thank heavens!) And they offered me a doggy bag for my uneaten beef, which was much appreciated. In fact, several diners were given them, so clearly the serves are generous. Well worth the road trip to get there, foodie people.

Superb food offering. Nice fusion creations Cheese brûlée. A savoury reinvention of the classic dessert. Must try. Mains were flavoursome and generous. Attentive service. Myrtille is the real deal.

the place is cute, cozy and highly demanded! so it is highly recommended to book, even two or three weeks in advance. The food is delicious, very well balanced and the quantity is perfect. For me, the most important thing is always the service, especially now that I have a baby, so that's another reason for the 5 stars.per attentive, kind and helpful (and affectionate with my baby) thank you for such a beautiful family moment. Another tips: If you go with children, inform them when booking, so they will have more options to offer you during your stay.

My husband and I went for dinner at Myrtille today. The ambience was great, the decor, the music was all perfect. Or waiter was lovelly and personal without being pushy or annoying.
Let's talk about the food. Best I had in a long time, probably best I have in Australia.
The starters were really good, the liver pate is fresh and flavourful, the potatos croquettes were crunch absolutely delicious but a bit to salt for my test.
Main meals didn't disapoint. The lamb was tender and well seassoned, the whole dish was balanced and delicious. The crab soufle was fluffy and delicious, I could drink a bucket of the prawn bisque with that warm baguette. Being very picky here the delicate taste of the crab on the soufle was overpowered by the strong flavour of the prawn bisque.
Definitely will come back when in the area and recommend everyone to go to Myrtille at least once.

A scenic two hour drive west of Brisbane will transport you to another world... A world of gastronomic delights!

You'll feel a sense of calm in this well curated space as the impeccably polished, yet warm and authentic, team take exceptional care of you.

No rushing, no stress, no pretence.

They handled my wife's gluten intolerance with care and grace.

This French inspired bistro outshines some of the best in the city, and humbly boasts a wine list that will pique the interest of even the most discerning wine-lovers, so best to avoid drawing the short straw as designated driver.
