The Cafe for The Common Good

Where are the tables now for sitting in its no way near as good as it was once if its freezing cold how can you sit outside to eat hot food

This place has so much potential….But the staff are just so miserable. I’ve been working in hospitality for 17 years and never have I seen such sour faces. The man who took my order at 7am on 21/3 spoke to me like he was coming off a 12 hour shift. And if he was I’m sorry for the complaint. But he was So short, rude and no warmth. The lady who made my coffee wasn’t any better. I asked her politely for a carry tray (which she should have offered as it’s just courtesy if you have 3+drinks) when I did it was like I had asked her for the moon. She sighed and said “yeah I’ll have to go get one”
The coffees and the croissant were good don’t get me wrong. You have great product. But I wouldn’t be back or recommend this place based on the service.

I understand hospital food is always expensive but charging nearly $1 for cheese on my already $8+ burger is ridiculous.

No menu - bad service. And the food was soggy as when I ate it. Staff turned back to me to chat with other staff member. Was just not cool.

Will never come back. Will always walk to woolies from now on when at hospital
