Had some catering pasta for my daughter’s 21st. Service was great. It was ready on time for pick up. Warm when it was served, It was fresh and absolutely delicious. Everyone commented on how delicious it was. I would definitely be ordering for my next event.

We went for dinner one mid-week evening and were very impressed with the food. We went with a Groupon voucher bought for us as a present, entitling us to garlic bread, salad, a pasta dish, a pizza dish and a gelato.

All of the food was superb. The Spaghetti Bolognese was clearly cooked with fresh pasta and it was so flavoursome. This is the signature dish I typically order from Italian restaurants and I can honestly say this dish was the best bolognese I have ever had outside of Italy. Afterwards, we had the eggplant pizza, cooked in their wood fire oven.

We went mid week, and unfortunately the restaurant was not busy, which is certainly not testament to how good the food is. I would thoroughly recommend local residents give the food a try and support their local Italian restaurant. Our compliments to the chef. Our first time there but we will most definitely be back for our next big Italian feed.

I’m sure there are people who read reviews prior to going to a restaurant and I did the same prior to visiting Dolcissimo. What some reviews left out is how authentic and laid back this restaurant is. We were ushered to a table quite quick and it took us a good few mins to decide which dishes to pick coz you’d want to order everything. Once we ordered the food and drinks (they do serve alcohol) we had time to relax and nibble on bread. I recon it took around 15-20 mins for the food to arrive and it was delicious. I read a few reviews about how long the food took but we didn’t care at all. We were not in a rush and with food like that it’s worth the wait. The chef is friendly and yes he’s Italian so you know you’re getting the real deal. We’ll definitely be going back

Been coming here for 30 years, it's still my favourite place in Sydney for Italian food. Pizza is just special and you got to try the affogato!!! Home made gelato by Vicky l, still the best in town!

Super authentic Italian cuisine! We enjoyed the Meat Lovers Pizza (+Anchovies), Seafood marinara, Stracciatella soup. Every dish was heavenly and we ended our meal with Tiramisu and Hazelnut gelato 😋 We were promptly attended to and served our dishes in under 20 minutes. Will be back the next time we visit Sydney!

Lovely people - so accommodating and helpful. Served us promptly, but we were not rushed. They made us feel right at home. We popped in after a day at the library and shopping. We had the signature spaghetti marina, which was delicious, authentically Italian, and a generous serving. Yum yum yum!! My friend was so impressed she ordered takeaway meals for her sons. Definitely returning. Thank you :)

In my humble opinion, this is the best authentic Italian restaurant in Sydney. Food is amazing, great menu, price is fine.
I won’t complain about the customer service, it’s just a matter of understanding different cultures 😊
Overall, great place to enjoy delicious Italian food.

It rustic, it’s got that old Italian restaurant feel. Not commercialised at all. Very very friendly real people. They never overcharge, if anything there fault is undercharging for their amazing product. The iced coffee with gelato is amazing and only $5 or $5.50. They are a historical spot in Haberfield so please help flood them with more business.

The most authentic Pizza outside of Italy!!!!! Haven’t enjoyed a pizza this good since my Italian vacation. The flavours and ingredients were exceptional. Our calamari for entree were so tender and crisp , and the pasta’s were cooked to perfection. When in haberfield drop by this little gem .

You always know what you'll get here - well cooked traditional Italian food using high quality ingredients. The restaurant has been operating for a long time and it's very sure of itself with no need for pretensions. The food speaks for itself. If you require fawning service you're in the wrong place. Personally I find the almost dismissive, (but generous), attitude of the staff refreshing and entertaining.

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Sydney. Dolcissimo serves beautiful traditional Italian dishes in a warm cosy environment. The woodfire pizza oven was done for the day when we turned up late at night so we ordered pasta. The garlic bread is crunchy and delicious, the pasta was fresh and tasty. Overall it was a lovely experience with great food at decent value. It's a shame the area is becoming rather quiet but the silver lining is the availability of parking. A must try.
