BODA Hair Boutique Prahran

Been with Boda for years now. I came to them when I was transitioning from dark brown with red foils.. back to blonde. I’m a natural blonde but it was still a long process to go blonde with root stretch (I think it’s called?). Now I’m bleached platinum blonde and love it. I was with Shy initially and now see Kayla in Prahran store. Staff, environment, service, prices are all excellent. Happily recommend them!

I first came to BODA Prahran as a haircut model with Tominey, now she is my regular hair dresser. Every time was such a pleasant experience as a lot of hair salons you feel judged. Everyone is so lovely and the end results every time are the best. Thankyou ladies xx

I’ve been coming to Boda for the last five years and throughout that time they have always had my hair looking amazing - there is no question that they are very skilled. Everyone that I have dealt with throughout this time has been friendly and professional. Customer care is also incredible - I once had a not so great experience and their response really impressed me. They were very receptive to feedback, not defensive at all, so fast in their response and really bent over backwards to rectify the situation and then some. Definitely recommend Boda.

I have just moved to Melbourne and was nervous about getting my hair done somewhere new. Aime was absolutely brilliant and knew exactly what I wanted. I left the salon feeling amazing with my new cut and blow dry! Already can’t wait to go back.

Had my first experience with Boda today… been on the hunt for a good salon after my hair got fried a few years ago. Elias took such care with my hair!!! And the results are amazing, so blonde and bright… I feel more confident than ever!

Saw Elias at S Yarra as needed a bad colour job fixed up. He made me feel SO welcome and really listened to what I wanted. He did such a fantastic job, keeping me informed all along the way and I left really happy with my hair. He wasn’t pushy about selling products. But recommended a goof protein for my hair which was in a bad condition (green top is after, other image is before - ie what he had to work with to fix up !) highly Recommend Boda S Yarra.

Oh and parking in the new-ish centre is so cheap and easy while getting your hair done.

Paige and everybody there is absolutely incredible! First hair dresser that gets it perfect every time! Also, the best blow out in town.

Amie is the only person that I trust to do my hair! I’ve seen her on multiple occasions for my balayage + toning and she makes every appointment a breeze! You can tell she’s passionate about what she does, honestly one of the best stylists to see for brunette balayages! I couldn’t recommend her enough! I’ve never left the salon feeling unhappy, in fact she’s always spot on with what I ask for. Prices are a little more on the expensive end however you do get what you pay for and I’m always satisfied with my results ☺

I was originally very nervous to have my hair cut, as my previous hair dresser had left my hair in a bad state. However, Emilia had been absolutely wonderful and I love the layered cut she gave me with curtain bangs. She was gentle and patient, often checked in with me and explained what she was doing with me throughout the cut.

I absolutely love my hair now and am also thankful for the product recommendations she gave me. Emilia is also a fantastic stylist!

I commend Boda for having Emilia on the team - she was very professional and I highly recommend anyone to ask for her when booking in for a cut.

I had a lovely haircut with Elias. After experiencing some hair loss I went in wanting advice on how best to cut my hair to cover the areas that were thinning. Elias was so lovely, I felt very comfortable leaving it up to his expertise. It was by far the most thorough cut I’ve had in a long time, I’m so happy with the results.

I am Middle Eastern and have very dark hair so I am very particular re who can touch it lol! Booked with Andrew and he exceeded my expectations!! He is talented, very experienced and know how to deal with dark hair! We had chat for only five minutes about what I want and boom few hours later I walked out super satisfied with the results. The atmosphere is very relaxing and all staff are friendly and welcoming! Can’t wait to go back for my toner:) it’s defo my hair salon now :)

Absolutely love this salon! Could not recommend the lovely Tominey enough, not only does she do an amazing job when colouring my hair, she is so sweet and positive. Tominey is such a great communicator and takes time to understand exactly what colour I want to achieve.

Boda Prahran is one of the warmest salons I’ve been too. Full of energy and positive vibes. Their great customer service and their level of professionalism doesn’t go unnoticed. The girls here all make sure that you feel welcome and sure do know how to look after you. I see Gabbi who always nails my hair! From colouring to styling, Gabbi’s skills always has people complimenting my hair and gives me a boost of self confidence. She always ensures her clients feel listened to provides great advice. I’ve always had such great experiences and can only speak highly of them.

I have been going to Boda for over 3 years and get my hair done by Shy. She is fantastic at what she does and I always leave absolutely loving my hair. My hair has stayed really healthy despite dying it blonde for sometime and it just shows how skilled she is. If you’re looking to get your hair done I highly recommend going to Boda and seeing Shy - you won’t regret it!

I visited Boda hair in Prahran and completely trusted Amie with my hair style. She was very professional, she understood perfectly what I wanted without loosing my essence. She’s very talented and helpful, kind and patient, she took her time with my long hair for an excellent result. She gave me loads of tips and hairstyle routines to have better control of my curly hair. I will definitely be back to Boda Hair Boutique Prahran and will book an appointment with Amie. I tried BODA for the first time as I had struggled to find a good hair dresser in the Prahran area that did not cost a fortune, and didn't have a 5 week wait list for appointments.
BODA was fantastic. Everyone is super lovely and friendly, not pretentious like a lot of places in the area.
They really took care and I could see all of the customers felt the same.
Would 1000% recommend.
