Delicious halal food!
We had spicy peppercorn chicken, dumplings, chicken fried rice, noodles with veggies and chicken, and chicken skewers. Everything was hot and fresh and very flavourful. They can also adjust spice levels for the dishes on request.
Service was good but understanding of English is limited.
Next time I will try their beef options as well.

Honest food, large portions, rustic, simple, and delicious. The menu is also quite large. Plenty of options to choose from. Very delicious Uyghur food. At peak times, there always seems to be a queue for this restaurant. It is very popular. Make sure to come a little earlier before the peak hour. We got in when it was actually empty, before the peak hour. Literally 15-25 minutes later, people started entering the restaurant and before we knew it, the restaurant was full of patrons.

Hands down! The best halal Chinese food. I highly recommend. I am definitely going back again with my family.

Easily my favourite cuisine . Food is packed with flavour that will leave your tastebuds singing. I have been dining here as long as i can remember and it always hits the spot without fail.

Very reasonably priced and perfect dining experience for any occasion.

My personal favourite dish is D4. Flat noodles, Chicken/Lamb 10/10 ✨

Good food, good atmosphere here. Family friendly, our kids love to come here to have dinner. Highly recommended to try their yogurt, thick and tasty!

So, thought of giving this place a shot. And it hit the bullseye. Despite busy and new years day, they were very accommodating, service was great right from the door. Our food arrived pretty quickly considering it was houseful. We ordered the veggies and lamb noodles and the meat pie. Both were quite tasty and very decently portioned.
Will be back trying the rest of their extensive menu.

Good food and reasonably priced. Family run restaurant that is fuss free and gives reasonable service. Love the spicy chicken with flat noodles. Nor cheap but reasonable for the novelty. Oh yes, try their milk tea-salted. Out of the world.

First time having Uyghur cuisine and every dish we ordered was amazing! Lamb ribs, sweet & sour chicken, green beans and stir fry tofu…🤤

And the dishes taste way better than they look!
My favourite is the "chicken on noodle" dish, which is one of the most famous dishes from that region anyway, and the beef tongue - that tongue is so tender, its texture reminds me of tofu skin... Amazing!
Note though the restaurant is BYO only. I would highly recommend bringing beers in with you to accompany the food.
Owner was relaxed and friendly, explained the menu before we ordered, and even explained to us how to cook the beef tongue after our minds were blown and asked (in short, it takes many hours of preparations. We decided it was easier if we just come and eat here instead...).

Always very good experience dining here. Will always come back for this tasty good food. Majority of what's on the menu is lamb and chicken as it is halal. The portion is huge and will feed the whole family easy. Extremely Good value for money and bug groups of people. Staff are also very efficient and attentive.

This place is amazing, as it breaks the mould of what you would expect from a typical Chinese meal. Being Uighur cuisine, you can expect lots of flavors and spices, with lamb being the main protein served.

Highly recommend the lamb skewers, served in 4’s which come up to $3+ each. Do not compare these with the $2 skewers you may be able to get elsewhere as they are BIG and chunky. Also had spicy lamb noodles which were good, but a tad too spicy for me. Dapanji (big plate chicken) is a popular choice otherwise, the handmade noodles drenched in sauce is amazing.

Portions are generous but pricing can be steep if you were to be eating alone. Would recommend this place for groups where you’ll get the most bang for buck.

Overall, really adds to the diversity of Chinese cuisine that you can find in Melbourne/box hill. If you want to try something outside of the mainstream Chinese cuisines, hit this place up.

Not your usual Chinese restaurant! Have visited twice and really enjoyed the uniqueness of Uighur cuisine. Portions are generous and many dishes are quite heavy on the meat, but tasty and good value especially if you are in a group of at least 3 or 4. The second time we visited, we made sure to order a good balance of dishes rather than all meaty. The lamb skewers are outstanding - succulent and perfectly spiced. Also recommend the handmade noodles, great chewy bouncy texture, and the cold sesame salad. Food came quickly and was very satisfying. Thank you 😊

Fantastic food, been here multiple times and will keep be back to try the other items on the menu. The fried lamb with bread was really delicious, handmade noodles were fresh and tasty too.

Sumptuous Uyghur food. Must try all the dishes esp the beef meat pie though not in photo. They sell yummy Uyghur yoghurt too!

Come here often to eat after work, food is delicious, portions are quite generous as well.

Food heaven indeed! Definitely the best lamb skewers on this side of town. Ordered 10 skewers and the lamb pancake dish between 2 and we were rolling out.

Came here for Father's day lunch & the food was amazing, the service fast & friendly, and a really lovely little local gem. I live in the inner city, but will come back here whenever I visit my family as it's a great restaurant for a group of hungry people with lots of very generous serves. We ordered the Lamb Ribs, Spicy Potato Salad, Cucumbers in Garlic Sauce, Spicy Chicken with Hand-Made Flat Noodle (which was enormous!) , BBQ Lamb Kidney Skewers and the Uyghur Meat Pie - a TONNE of food and it still came in at about $40pp - excellent value.
