The best store in Box Hill Central.
I hope they get a new nearby location with the clock ticking on the building they are currently located in being replaced with apartments.

So glad to shop at Dimmeys again. 3 visits now, each time great service & terrific bargains! See you again soon.....

My sister who lives in an inner east suburb told me "there's nothing" in this Dimmy's. I went and found a pair of super warm and soft blue fleece pants that I really enjoyed wearing when working from home last week. I went back today and got another pair, and a few more bargains.
Yes it may look a bit messy and sad there, but if you are patience and a bargain hunter like me (always on a mid to min salary), you will find some really good buys! I always get friendly service as the good old fashioned Aussie way.

There is a lot of "junk" in this shop. However, whether it is useful to you or not, depends on what you are looking for. I have found some very handy things in Dimmey's Box Hill at VERY cheap prices. Range is not as big as Dimmey's stores elsewhere. Definitely worth a look if you are at Box Hill shops. Location is in former Harris Scarfe shop.

Actually, i had to google & find out where the nearest Dimmey's was because the first Dimmey's i went to was in Dandenong where i use to stay now i've moved to Camberwell & the nearest Dimmey's to me is at Box Hill shopping centre, they are so fully stocked with everything u are looking for but just to mention to u people it was quite cheap for their price of some t shirts sweaters etc & not to mention the staff member i spoke with she was so helpful & very informative she was asian descent very welcoming thankyou, "Dimmey's" at Box Hill...

This is a nice place however I never realised that Dimmeys is still trading. They seem to trade over the former Harris Scarfe Place in Whitehorse Centro.

They do have some good items of clothing especially the underwear range.

Cheap discounted warehouse style shopping. There was nothing much that was heavily discounted when we visited after Christmas and Boxing day. There were not a lot of items as well in this store at Box Hill.

Box Hill Dimmeys is a very messy & unorganized store, if you have the time or inclination to sort through random stuff you might find a bargain but i really could not be bothered. The funny thing is they have not even bothered to change department signage from when Harris Scarfe was there! eg sign says 'cookware' so i go over to look for a saucepan only to find towels there! Staff member at the counter was not at all friendly either. 2 stars only because i did not look thru the clothes much so trying to be fair.
