Had dinner here. Beautiful setting. Fabulous food. Beautiful decor in dining room. Did not see other rooms but can imagine they would be very nice.

Had the pleasure of staying with Shelley and Doug at the Country Inn. The food was amazing and the hospitality was superb. They truly made it feel so homely with them going above and beyond for us.

A highlight of the stay was Schnitzel the dog who kept us company on the walking trails.

I have the opportunity to enjoy Girraween Country Inn with my husband and my dog. It was a very relaxing experience. The place is located close to other vineyards and the Girraween National Park. The food offered is fresh and prepared in a cleaned kitchen! Besides, the place offers the option to walk adjacent to the national park and enjoy a fantastical view. I will not hesitate to come back and recommend the place to anyone.

We recently stayed at Girraween Inn for a long weekend. Shelley and Doug were exceptional hosts and great local guides. The walks and attractions were delightful. The local produce made for first-class dining from the Inn's kitchen courtesy of our hosts.

We had booked dinner there without much research. But it felt like we hit the jackpot upon arrival. Driving up a beautiful tree filled driveway the Inn was visible in the distance lit up like a lodge in a faraway mountain range. The service was very homely and thoughful. The layout was warm and cosy. Doug and Shelley made the experience absolutely wonderful. Definitely recommend.

We spent two nights at this lovely place. Self-cooked dinner and breakfast was absolutely fantastic - so much variety and freshly made. The dog Mr Schnitzel guided us up the hill on the property for a scenic view. The Girraween National Park is worth a visit, when travelling Queensland. There are new owners for about 16 months, who gave us a bigger room than we booked, just because of kindness.

We had an amazing stop over at Girraween Country Inn. The location is great, and the property was immaculate and picturesque. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was really delicious, eggs just perfectly cooked. Will absolutely be recommending this gem to friends and family.

Very welcoming, lovely owners, chef cooked sensational meals which we are looking forward to tasting again. A great place to stay. The walk behind the Inn was an added bonus.

A home from your home. Shelley is an excellent cook and I was amazed by the flavours. Cooked breakfast is excellent as well. What takes out the price and sorry Shelley and Doug but it is Schnitz, Schnitty, Schnitzel the dog living at the property. He is just the best when he takes you on his walk just behind the property with a great lookout for the sunset. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all you need. I enjoyed my stay of 4 nights so much! Thanks Shelley, Doug and Schnitzel xx

We didn't stay here but had dinner there. All I can say is the food is amazing, the service was great. 3 courses which were delicious 😋 It was gourmet home style cooking. Didn't think I'd be able to finish dessert, but I had to it was phenomenal!

We really enjoyed our stay at Girraween Country Inn over Easter - it's a beautiful old homestead in a really picturesque spot. Shelley and Doug were so welcoming and made us feel at home - it was so cozy with the fireplaces going, and the food was absolutely beautiful. All home cooked and so delicious - better than going out to any of the other restaurants. We loved Schnitzel the resident puppy dog - it's a great spot to stay, highly recommend.

What a hidden Gem.

Tucked away in nature was this amazing place that we loved being in. The first night we took the 5 course meal - and every single thing was amazingly delicious. Everything is home cooked by Shelly and Dough - the owners and I must say we were well looked after.

The rooms were so cosy and clean with good heating and electric blankets. The heating place in the common areas and pool kept the environment lovely with lots of other guests interactions.

The breakfast- all complimentary was equally delicious with lots of open buffet and choices for hot breakfast.

We’d defiantly be coming back and would 100% recommend this place to others as well.

My parter and I have had two absolutely WONDERFUL stays at this lovely inn. The location couldn't be better, the rooms are cozy and warm, and it is so nice to sit around the fire in the evening with our friends. The service here is spectacular - Shelly and Doug are very accomodating and provide a real sense of country hospitality. The food is SO YUUMY too! Unexpectedly delicious for such an out-of-the-way spot. We had the Thai pumpkin soup (so good!) and the smoked pork with veggies and applesauce (amazing!). We were hungry after a big hike in the national park and the generous portions really filled us up. Lots of delicious choices for breakfast in the morning as well. I couldn't recommend the location more highly to those who are seeking a quiet country getaway :)

Cosy little Inn with delicious home cooked meals and welcoming hosts (including the sweetest Border Collie, Schnitzel). Beautiful location close to the national park and plenty of wineries. Would definitely recommend if you love nature and feeling at home while you're away!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The Owners were very friendly and welcoming, the location was great for hiking the national Park and the Inn itself was gorgeous. Added bonus was the friendly canine mascot, Mr Schnitzel, who greeted us on our arrival. We'd definitely recommend to our friends.

We were so well looked after by Shelley & Doug (& Mr. Schnitzel) at the Girraween Country Inn - the accommodation, food & hospitality was outstanding & I highly recommend this as a place to stay (& eat!!). It's location is perfect for touring the vineyards and/or hiking & the meals at the Inn were fantastic (Shelley is a terrific cook). We will definitely be back & cannot wait!!

Despite cold winter conditions on the Granite Belt last week our accomodation was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the cosy log fires in the Restaurant and in the sitting area outside our room. We had dinner in the Restaurant/Bar area each night - no need to go out in the cold looking for somewhere to eat. All our breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Thank you to our friendly hosts Shelley and Doug.

Really lovely place to stay! The hosts are really welcoming and the meals are delicious and really filling. The room was warmed up when we got there and they lit stoves in the common rooms to make it comfortable. Internet connection was speedy and reliable, and the beds were comfortable and warm. It was great.

Generous and accomodating hosts, this place has a bed n breakfast feel. Very satisfying meals with an included breakfast that kept the kids fuelled for a days hike. Our room was warm and comfortable. The location is ideal for getting to several wineries and into Girraween park for some special hikes.
