Railway Hotel

We live in the UK, travel extensively through Europe and Asia/ Australasia and consume rather a lot of pizza on our journeys. No kidding, the Railway Hotel's wood fired pizzas are up there with the very very best . Quality, tastey thin crust, with delicious toppings. Warm friendly service.

Love the room upgrade they are so clean and comfy with aircon and a decent TV
Attended the fun and delicious high tea on Melbourne Cup day and enjoyed awesome food and great service.

Absolutely delicious meals and lovely staff. They also have a great little play area for toddlers.

My wife and I were in Murtoa for a wedding last weekend and the reception was at the Railway Hotel the food was amazing and the service and atmosphere was fantastic

The perfect place to disappear for the weekend for some rest. Food is delicious and the rooms are newly renovated with ensuite. To book a room just leave a message on the answering machine. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The steak is better than anything I have tasted for years.

The staff were friendly and the steak was cooked to perfection. Great sized meal and access for trucks is good. Definitely recommend stopping here for dinner.

Fantastic service, delicious home style meals. Went with a bus load of elderly clients and the owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Railway Hotel on a family get together . Wehad the best time ...... Bill the publican and all the staff were just amazing and so was the food. They couldnt do enough for us it was home away from home. Beds very comfy and amenities spotless. Thanks for everything Bill we will return.

Compact clean room, great en suite. Brilliant dinner.

Not a huge choice of meals but served quickly and hot. Very happy with all meals ordered, big serves, well cooked and tasty.

Fantastic hospitality from Bill the publican. Friendly locals. A great atmosphere and terrific food. The perfect way to finish up the Silo Art Trail. We'll be back.

The staff here are lovely and willing to accomodate to your needs. Very nice place to stay with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Pub meals were also fantastic! Thanks guys!
