Wow! Wow!!
What a wonderful opportunity we had looking through the Stick Shed. How could this have shed been built within 4 months,
80 farmers with no machinery, all built by hand!
If you're ever in or around Murtoa, get along to see this magnificent shed.
Thankyou Mick, for the great tour and all your knowledge. ♡

The Stick Shed is a really interesting place to call into. I had no knowledge about The Stick Shed, so it was worthwhile calling in and learning some local history. It costs $10 each to go in, so it's affordable!

Soo much history and so many little details to look at. Very impressive structure especially considering how long ago it s built. Well worth the $10 to wonder around. Best to take your time and actually look around at everything. This place is huge.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Stick Shed . The sheer size of the build from the outside is jaw dropping but the interior is just beautiful with is raw cathedral like qualities .

Great little stop to experience the last remaining building of its type still standing. The scale of it is amazing.

A remarkable piece of Australian heritage. The shed needs to be seen to get a feel for the scale.

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves
I recommend you read the history and watch the short video to appreciate the work that went into this creation

A rare opportunity to see heritage listed shed. About half an hour drive from Halls Gap this huge shed built pre war by manual labour. So nice to watch the short clip piece of information from the tv room before seeing the actual shed otherwise it will not make sense other than looking at the tall posts. The narration from the clip was very informative and was narrated by the actual people that used to work there and how different back then compared now that we have all the tools and machineries to make things better and faster. The shed is just now a showcase and a symbol of the past. Ample of car parking and there is an entrance fee of $10 per adult and from memory kids are free or $5.

Saw this place on TV but you have to go inside to understand the scale. Just awesome! And some interesting history goes with it. Amazing to think the one near Parkes NSW was 3 times the size of this one.
