I would like to express my sincere thanks especially to Ashley and Rick, as well as Shannon and all the trades involved with the the repair works after Hail storm damage to my mother-in-laws home on the central coast. They did so with such professionalism, responsiveness and organizational skills. I felt like they treated our job like it was their own home. Despite some significant obstacles in the course of which, they were able to find solutions, restoring the home, leaving it clean and safe, right before Christmas.(Albeit without me ever being on site) It was a remarkable feat! Service such as this is seldom seen these days. It's evident that those named approach their work with great conviction as their efforts were nothing short of exemplary!! I received a call from HBI the same day that I called my insurance company regarding the insurance claim and an appointment was set up for 2 days later on a Friday, for an assessor to come and look at the damage. The assessor, Jeff, arrived on time and was a very nice young man and he explained the whole process to me. I received an email from him on the Monday stating that he had submitted the Assessment Report & Scope of Works to my insurer. I am extremely happy with the service I received.

It was so amazing to work with Ashley and then later Marty as they were so organised, precise and always kept us informed on progress of claim. Highly recommend HBI as partner with NRMA Claims Department.
All builders, roofers, Solar businesses both roof and hot water systems very professional and considerate.
Minor problem with matching paint, however we provided our small amount that did assist. Understand totally what matching paint is like. He discussed it with my husband and very apologetic..
Unfortunately when roof was replaced the Foxtel dish was removed and returned however didn't line up with satellite dish so had Foxtel Technician come and set up. Ashley has approved payment for this call out.

Excellent service from HBI Australia in regard to repair of damage to my house filling the October 2022 Hail Storm . The initial claim was dealt with swiftly and inspections were quickly carried out. I was very happy with the assessors and the way they treated my claim application. I could not fault any of the trades involved in carrying out repair work. All were efficient and cooperative in fitting their schedules in with mine. Many of the tradies went beyond what I expected them to do so they produced a high quality repair job. When spare parts could not be obtained, the whole item was replaced or a whole area repainted.
Both NRMA and HBI kept in constant contact with me to ensure I was fully informed and happy with each repair task. Thank you HBI and all the tradesmen for an excellent job in repairing the hail damage in a very efficient and professional manner.

Thanks HBI for sending Jeff Clarke out to inspect the repair work that was carried out by another company. Jeff explained what the likely problem was but also wanted to rule out there wasn't any issue with our roof and organised for the roof to also be inspected. I only wish you guys did the original repair work. If in the future we need to claim on insurance I will be requesting HBI, so easy to deal with, extremely thorough and very professional and prompt.

Jeff Clarke was sent out to our property after we were not happy with the assessor sent out prior. Jeff asked many questions and was very thorough upon his inspection. He really pushed things along for our claim. His politeness and the quality he puts into his assessments I would request Jeff to come back in the future if required.

Very soon after I lodged my claim, HBI sent someone out to make my house safe. That was done that day and water no longer entered the living room. Not long after Julie from HBI made phone contact. She was professional and easy to talk to. Their were a number of hiccups with tradesmen not turning up but that had nothing to do with HBI. Julie organised replacement tradies straight after and all their work was of a high standard. In some cases the end result was that the repairs were better than what it was like before the hail. I'd like to make special mention of my HBI phone contact Julie. We spoke dozens of times so that she could keep me up to date with every aspect of our claim. I always felt that everything was under control. HBI should be very happy to have her as an employee.

I can’t recommend HBI highly enough. After contracting them to do roof repairs, deck repairs and a full repaint, I ran into unforeseen issues with tenants in my property. HBI were both professional and understanding, despite this delay causing scheduling problems for them. When the job did proceed, the quality of workmanship was outstanding and the my old timber Queenslander house looks like new. I also appreciated the care they took not to damage my rose garden while doing the repairs and painting. Highly recommend.

Early days, but the initial contact with HBI has been positive (our previous builder had let us down and we reached out to NRMA to assist with providing another builder). Contact was made with us immediately that NRMA passed along our details and Matthew Preston attended our property a few days later to assess our property after storm water damage. Matthew was great and provided us with much-needed feedback as to the extent of the damage caused, taking the time to explain everything to us. We are confident, even given the fact that there may be delays with the appropriate trades, etc, that we will be looked after along this journey. Well done Matthew and HBI and we look forward to having, as speedily as possible, our beautiful new home (only 8 weeks old when the damage occurred) returned to its original beauty. Thanks again

Matthew Preston did an appraisal of the building repairs needed on our home after storm damage. He was very friendly, helpful, kind and professional, and hopefully he will be the one that comes back and does the repairs! I can't recommend him highly enough.

We placed a claim with NRMA and were assigned a builder. FIVE WEEKS LATER with no contact whatsoever, despite leaving a message directly on the builders answering service to explain we have water/ceiling leak issues I INSISTED on changing builders. I WAS THEN ASSIGNED TO HBI. SAME DAY they contacted me and Mathew Preston was at our house the next week. WELL DONE HBI ON YOUR WORK ETHIC, RESPONSIVE COMMUNICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM.We are still working through all our issues and can't thank Mathew Preston enough for helping us through this. HBI carried out repairs to the iron section of roof at the Bangalow Bowlo in 2020. We (the Board) were very satisfied with the work done. I found Steve and his team easy to deal with, helpful at every point and willing to work in with our solar contractor. HBI came to the party again, twice in 2021, to provide quotes on replacing the asbestos section of the roof. Although the Bowlo wasn't successful in securing the grant funding, HBI couldn't have been more helpful in providing the information and quotes needed.
