Chemex - Innisfail & Mission Beach

Chemex are the best, we contacted chemex on a Saturday morning wanting to buy a UV sanitiser light for our pond. They had one on the shelf but we could not get there from Cairns until late that afternoon after they closed. Chemex said no worries they only live around the corner and they will come and open when we get to Innisfail. We arrived just after 2pm and they opened the shop just for us. Thanks again Chemex you are awesome.

Recently switched to Chemex for all of our pool needs at our business and private locations. Great service and they always do what they say they will do. Pools have never looked better.

The unprofessionalism of Chemex Innisfail is something I rarely experience from the other local businesses. I have attempted to arrange an ongoing pool cleaning service with Chemex Innisfail 3-4 times. The first time they did not take any of my details after the call, the second time we arranged a time to come out for a clean and they did not show up. The third time I arranged a new booking time which they called me back and rescheduled. On the 4th time (the new reschedule date) we were told their serviceman (a new employee) would be out to our place after midday and would call us with an estimated time. 2pm rolled around and we had not received a call or text about the appointment. My husband called Chemex and spoke to Chris and asked what the go was and he said he didn’t know as it was up to the serviceman when he would get there. My husband tried to provide feedback, saying we would have appreciated a courtesy message if they weren’t able to make it to which Chris responded “well guess what, we aren’t coming” and hung up on my husband. My husband attempted to call back twice straight away and they would not answer his call. This is exactly what pushes people not to shop locally. You attempt to support a local business upon the recommendations from others only to be provided this kind of customer service. Being unable to make a job is one thing, but being rude to a customer when they make enquiries and provide you with courteous feedback is another. If you are too busy, just be upfront and don’t take on new customers. Very disappointed.

Might be a great place... If it was open during the advertised business hours. Drove all the way to Innisfail from Cairns for them to be shut an hour earlier than what the is advertised. Massive mess around.
