$11.50 for a big piece of Spanish Mack and chips for one. LOVE IT.
Ignore the 3.5 start rating and go there. fresh oil.. tasty chips.. great fish.

THE.BEST.FISH I have ever tasted. The shop front is less than inviting and the customer service at first greeting is appalling but the fish and chips are divine. The older lady who runs the shop has been there 41 years .The food may take a while and is very behind as it only accepts cash but the quality of the seafood is amazing. Disregard the low star rating!

Stopped over in Cardwell for the night and decided to try out the fish and chip shop.
Got a seafood basket and everything was yummy, fresh tasting and there was more fish than batter (rare for a fish and chip shop!!)

Would also return just for the service alone. Lady who served us was lovely.

Don't be put off by the run down shopfront, the seafood is really good. Not overly cheap and it's cash only, which sucks, but good for some decent takeaway to eat by the beach
