Cardwell Jetty

Go for a walk to the end of the jetty at a higher tide and there is a good chance that you will see one of Cardwell many Crocodiles. The view has many moods here from one end of the day to the other. 90% of shops are right across the road from here.

Great views at sunrise and sunset! Wish it had a barrier on the other side too as it would be quite scary during a high wind day.
Lovely place to look at the view though so would definitely recommend

Very good fishing spot, but the appearance of crocodiles is very common, as well as large turtles.

I went passed this place and felt like i need to stop and take some pictures. I did not regret it at all. It has nice quite beach. The park was clean and has good design, looked like a outdoor theater hall.

A beautiful spot to stop on your way through. Stretch your legs, take a stroll along the Jetty and enjoy the views.

Good place for lunch with views to Hinchenbrook Island

Beautiful scenic attraction overlooking Hitchinbrook Island. This is the type of place that many travellers and tourist visit on the east coast of Australia with many tours to offer on the Great Barrier Reef. There many takeaway food shops and accommodation. Also check out the environmental centre situated near the pier!

View is always lively at the Cardwell Jetty. Had a roast chicken n chips from IGA and looked out at Hinchinbrook Island etc. Lovely.

Bit of an overcast day but such a nice place to stop and check out the veiws and walk along the jetty.

Love stopping each time we go to or through cardwell.. kids love to explore.. views are amazing worth a stop

Stopped for a stretch during a long journey, absolutely beautiful spot. Have included it onto my list of places to stay next time I'm up those parts. Very friendly locals and lots of nice places to eat

Very beautiful place and good playground

So not the sparkling crystal clear waters we were imagining, but the mud flats at low tide are sort of cool. The young local kids gave us a heads up about letting our fur baby take a dip. Never at high tide, but playing in the mud is pretty safe. Definitely worth a visit.
