Lovely camp grounds. Some of the cleanest facilities I have ever seen. Was quiet so we had a nice time. Lots of baby frogs around when it rains. Also right by the town and the railway trail

Excellent caretaker. A lovely quiet place to camp and very reasonable fees. A great place to explore the rail trail from as it is right outside.

Great facilities, very enjoyable 3 night stay. Last night, we had an open fire in a facility provided by the show ground with wood supplied by the very helpful manager. Thank you, Terry.

We paid $20 for a powered caravan site for two adults. Grass sites spread out around a large area. The manager is friendly and helpful. The amenities are good and clean. It's a couple of minutes walk into town from here and right beside the rail trail. It's pet friendly too.

Stayed at Blackbutt Showgrounds with a group of friends, there is plenty of room and a good number of powered sites, campfires are allowed. We used as a base to ride the rail trails

Plenty of space, powered and unpowered sites, clean facilities and near the Blackbutt Information centre. Blackbutt is a friendly town and on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.

We have been here a few times and still enjoy it. Power and water sites and we have always found a quiet spot away from other vans. Easy walk to town and sites of interest. Clean and tidy facilities as well.

Great place for a stopover a few hundred metres off the main highway through town, so it was very quiet at night. $20 a night for two on a powered site. Very clean and well-maintained amenities block with nice hot showers. Powered sites and easy roll through parking for any size rig. The dump point is easily accessible too. It's got a free book exchange, as we enjoy doing a few swaps. And only a short walk to the main street if you are looking for some nice places to eat or drink.

Very affordable. Devine shower, in fact the pressure was so good that the drain couldn't keep up. They even allow showers for no campers for only $4. So close to home, but so worth it.

Went for the avocado festival. Very well thought out. The showgrounds were a perfect place to hold this event.

Why have we not camped here before, very nice spot with a strong country favour.
Facilities are very good and well maintained.
I must point out that I found the disabled shower very difficult to use as there are not enough grab rails, the shower sprays water over most of the floor which makes the shower floor slippery and dangerous as a amputee standing on one leg.
However a few small modifications could solve all these issues.
We will back as we like the camp site.

What a fabulous find. I do love camp areas that are close to town for pub, supermarket etc and this one is close to a rail trail for walking and cycling. Great showers and amenity plus inexpensive power and water with dump point close by. Shame I won't be here for their annual Avocado festival.
