St John's Anglican Church Ashfield

Very friendly to visitors, run great community events, clear and faithful Bible teaching. Wonderful kids programs on Sunday and Friday and kids club in school holidays. All ages catered for.

Really cool graveyard to have a look around from the 1800s, one of the oldest in Sydney! Some really interesting history to look at, there is supposedly almost 1500 people buried here.

Picturesque antique cemetery worth a visit. A true iconic Australian gem with easy access. Cute little new playground as well. Nice welcoming church. Some car park in the shade is also available.

St Johns services and community as a whole provide me with some answers that deeply satisfy and change my life. My husband and I joined this church when we moved into the area 3 years ago. We go to the 6pm service which is basically for 15-30 y.o. and we love it! It's welcoming, intellectually stimulating and great community

A friendly church for families. I enjoy the sermons, the music, and the yummy morning teas while chatting with other brothers and sisters after the service.

I love this church!!

Hermosa iglesia. Asistí a una celebración dominical: que era diferente al rito católico, era más cantos, lecturas. Al comienzo llamaron a todos los niños y se los llevaron aparte. El pastor, sin ninguna vestidura especial, dio el sermón, cuyo título estaba anunciado en la cartelera que da a la calle.
También, en los terrenos dela iglesia,hay un antiguo cementerio, que también tiene su encanto.
También en frente de la iglesia, hay un monumento a los parroquianos que perdieron la vida en la Segunda Guerra Mundial:
