The Shoe Chef Cafe

Outstanding. This place is one of those rare finds that excells in everything. Service, friendliness, cleanliness, atmosphere, value for money and right on another level all together, the food. If you can finish the mega breakfast your doing good. In fact most dishes on the menu are big. They are more than happy to put the rest in a container for you to take home. If your up for it they have a food challenge with prize giveaways.

The Shoe Chef Cafe is a regular spot for a delicious breakfast, although often quirky, the flavours are always on point.

Check out my photo for an example, a take on the eggs benedict, the muffin is replaced with a southern fried chicken piece and some bacon thrown in for extra flavour.

Some of the best foods, with amazing value and great friendly staff/owners. You won't find a bigger breakfast, or most delicious of burgers.

Tasty burgers both vegan and non-vegan! The chips are super tasty as are the wedges. I have never been disappointed eating food from here - mostly takeaway due to lockdown. I would love to eat here in person some time :)

Amazing cafe with a great friendly family atmosphere out back and a little bit of relaxed class up front.
This cafe offers up a lounge room setting out the back with change tables and kids toys. The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly, and has a great chefs creation menu with some amazing sections on there, plus a regular breakfast and lunch menu. The kids menu starts of at $3!
The food is great portions and excellent pricing. This cafe is great for everyone all around. I will be back, that's for sure!

The ‘Shoey’ is a Dulwich Hill gem. Excellent food, generous portions, lovely brewed tea, a warm welcome and service with kindness and respect. I really appreciate the unpretentious atmosphere.

Best cafe in Sydney. Bacon and egg rolls are 10/10 along with coffee and milkshakes. Been many times and still can’t wait to go again.

I freaking love this place! We were regulars when we lived locally and now travel down often from the Blue Mountains to eat Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. With a dynamic menu there's something for everyone and easily the best comfort food around. There's a massive indoor space out the back for families with plenty of toys and books for kids. This place is a must!

Nice, comfy little joint we accidentally bumped into. And glad we did! Sneaky little brekkie over Easter long weekend. But THE COFFEE! Will definitely come back just for that. Menu looks to be fun and flavourful for future visits. Thanks guys!

Serrvice was fantastic, they were friendly and wonderful to chat to. Would come for their eggs benny for a sit down, and if you're a person on-the-go, there's always the brekky roll and small coffee deal.

One of the best burger joints in the inner west and there are some cracking burgers in the inner west. This place serves seriously good food, and it is served with a smile. Kid friendly, recommend the brunch burger and the mi goreng toastie. Still working my way through the menu, but everything so far has been bang on. They have a cheese burger that looks awesome... next on my list. Good beers too. Go here...

This cafe is absolutely amazing... the bad boys (chips) were so amazing with the gooey cheese and everything. The staff are so nice and open to changes to the food on the menu. So anyone with dietary requirements will have an easy time ordering here.

The staff are welcoming and the food great. Theres a play area for the kids and the music is great. They have wifi. Great to get some work done over a good coffee and a Susanne special meal. Thanks Mick. Love what you have done since you have opened. Wishing you all the best as you power forward.

Amazing! Had the greatest food ever! I got the sneaker roll (I think that's what it was called) and I added sausage on a gluten free roll. Incredible! And affordable! Loved it! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These guys are amazing- great food, owner has a fantastic sence of humour and they always have some very creative specials- today I had Mi Goreng toastie!

That said if you're hungry their burgers can't be beat, they double all ingredients for just $4!

Would recommend to anyone.

I had the Schnitty Benny and it was delicious. A fair size (certainly enough for me) delicious juicy thigh schnitzel with avocado, tomato salsa/sauce, bacon and 2 fried eggs and a yummy hollandaise on the side. Great flavours and textures....very much enjoyed it.
Lots of other interesting things on the menu. My friend had the Mee Goreng toasty and raved about how good it was...I was too full to try even one bite lol

Lovely local, friendly, family run cafe. Great food and friendly service. We are so lucky in the Innerwest to have wonderful businesses like this enriching our neighbourhood. Thank you Shoe Chef Cafè for being around the corner and for brightening our day with your delicious food, coffee and humour.
