In its Heyday you could not find parking here. Lost its old charm but the character is still there. Not glitzy or glamy but good value and quality. Like shopping here for fruit and veg.

Huge choice of fresh fruit, vegetables, Italian fresh food like pasta, cheeses and sauces. Good prices. Friendly service. Cheapest Pepperoncini (Italian hot peppers) sauce I could find in the area! Been shopping here for about a year now and very happy with the price/quality they offer. Fresh herbs and peeled garlic are the best!

Hidden Gem! Might not look like much from the outside but as soon as you walk inside you realise how large this store is. We found the fruit and vegetables to be at a very reasonable price along with other items for sale. Everything we have purchased is very fresh and high quality. Great little car park out the front also. Will be returning

My favourite fruit and veg in the inner west (since the borsellino brothers packed up ten years ago). Good produce, good prices, live herbs and flowers, Italian deli stuff, but nothing fancy.

If you are old like me and still remember when leichhardt used to have big fresh with the singing veges you probably sulked and refused to return once it turned all woollies and alidi - it's time to come back people! The fresh fruit market has the greatest tomatoes in sydney and the strongest garlic outside of France. A great selection of deli items without the queues of norton st (though not the extensive selection). The best bit - they give you the option to have all your fruit and vege put in a box and carried out to your car old fashioned service and old fashioned prices.

Sobrasada! And not many places near Marrickville stock, but I wished I had checked to see if they carried La Boqueria's Txistorra as well. Very happy to see maccheroni al ferretti on offer here too - as it's my favorite pasta.
