在澳洲谈及牙医，普遍的印象就是价格太贵，态度很差。望而生畏。那么有没有例外呢？回答是肯定的。我最近的一次经历就是这样一个特例。
我是一个70多岁的老人，长期患有牙周炎，·5颗牙缺失，有4颗蛀牙。经常因为牙痛而长期服用甲硝唑。最近情况恶化，无法忍受。 在家人的一再催促下才决定去看牙医。经朋友推荐，怀着试试看的想法，来到了这家Wong & Kao Dental Surgery。
一上楼，就受到前台小姐的热情接待。详细地介绍了各位牙医的情况。在了解了我的病情以后，马上向我推荐了高医生。安排了门诊时间。
第一次见到高医生，给我的印象是和蔼可亲，热情专业。在我主诉病情以后，马上对我全部牙齿逐一检查。拍了4张X光。让我看着X光片子，向我解释是什么问题。需要如何处理。包括拔牙，补牙，根管治疗，做上下一副假牙。
拔牙后帮我止血，给我消炎药，再三叮嘱注意事项。做根管治疗时多次用探针检查神经是否弄干净。还用x光再三检查确认。以免后患。
在补一颗臼齿的时候由于蛀洞太大，她特地给我加打一个钢钉，用以加固。还拒绝我的额外补费。
做假牙时先做·蜡模，再选牙齿颜色，再正式交付。试了就修，修了再试，反复多次，不厌其烦。
从第一次上楼见她，到最后一次她送我出来。都是满脸笑容，轻声细语，有问必答，有求必应。这样的医生，牙科医生，是我70多年人生中所罕见的。这就是我为什么要写这些文字的原因。
同时，我也要感谢她的助手的默契配合和前台接待员的周到安排。
