A big beautiful park hidden away from all the tourists BBQ kept clean no playground tho, but it's got plenty of grass and hills for the kids to make up there own fun...

A great local park with a good playground for the kids. Picnic tables and seats overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. It is only 5 minutes walk from Pyrmont Bay.

It's not a pram friendly hike from the south to access the to park, up two flights of stairs and a hill. But it's decent for a short play session if you have young children once you're there. No restrooms. There was a BBQ grill, 1 or 2 picnic tables, swings, a small play structure, and great views.

Hidden away but worth finding. Great park for young kids or dog walking on Pyrmont peninsula.

Still one of the best picnic and BBQ locations with the lovely views in Pyrmont. The BBQ has been out of service there for months, one would think the council would pay for a repair.

Also, someone poisoned and repeatedly drilled holes through a 100+ year old tree there which provided hundreds of square metres of shade across the bbq area and the children's play area / swings. It was excellent with that tree but the council replaced it with a tiny bush sized version of the same plant which won't provide useful shade for another few decades.

The children's play area is fantastic. Great fun for boys and girls alike. A set of swings, a slipper dip, soft flooring around, and a pirate ship themed walkway and bridge male it great fun.

There is loads of grass to lay out blankets and enjoy the views or soak in the sun.

Spectacular views in every direction. Alot of dogs running about and loving the place too judging by their excited play with each other.
