St Peters Fruit World

Fruit and veg place with a mix of homeware stuff down the back. Good alternative to the shopping centre big names but very basic range. Convient parking at the door .

An astoundingly impressive store, St Peters Fruit World is one of my favourite shops, with a wide variety of not only fruit and vegetables but also essential condiments and cooking ingredients! An amazing variety of fruit from lychees to mangoes is offered, along with quality ice cream mochi and even enoki mushrooms! The staff are nice, while the store itself is spacious and well-located in close proximity to the major Sydenham station.

ST PETERS Has the best fruit and vegetables , great little supermarket ,lost of fantastic and unusual goods at reasonable prices tiolet paper ,special flour oils etc just to name a few . Just about everything in one store service is fantastic everyone is always cheerful and helpful.

My favourite little supermarket, normally get all my fruit and veg here. Great prices and much fresher than coles/woolies. Also have a very good range of grocery items, fresh flowers etc. Staff are friendly, the lady who runs the store is especially kind. Will miss this little shop when I move out of the area.

Today my life changed for the better. It was my first ever visit to Fruit World.
I thought this store would only sell fruit (hence the name) but little did I know that I would enter and see so much more. In addition to the fresh produce range, I happened upon a carefully curated selection of essentials. What else was I greeted by? Friendly customer service and a groovy Carole King song! As I felt the “earth move under my feet” I also felt something else…. My dreams coming true.

The best local grocery store. Recently moved away from the area and, although I never knew her name, I miss the lady who runs this store - she is always so smiley and friendly. A really nice shopping experience, always well stocked, great low prices and nice family business.

Frequently delivered and fresh range of breads and Lebanese bread! I don’t bother getting sliced bread from woolies/coles anymore.

Great range of dips to compliment with too.

We’ve been getting fruit delivered with the usual grocery and it would always be bruised or inedible. So happy we found fruit world. Fruit are fresh and carefully picked. Will definitely order here again.

Before the internet, smart phones and Netflix if you were in St Peters and wanted to touch the world there was only one place to go.... Butterfly Blooms... but across the Unwins Bridge (now a road) was St Peters Fruit world.... originally a fruit focused theme park in the 70s they found they had more locals wanting to purchase fruit than they had tourists wanting to experience the fruit themed funfair... reluctantly they packed up the Vegas style rides, dare devil performances and regulars tiger / dolphin shows... and rolled out the groceries.... and to this day it’s a great deal.

Good local small business. Better than woolies, vast arrangement of various things. Reasonably priced and great service.

Lots of quality produce in this store. The selection is both customary ingredients and unique. As it's a relatively small supermarket you get in and out quickly. Prices are almost always reasonable just pay attention

Regular stop for both everyday fresh foods and varied international cuisine essentials.
(Adding to above from years ago: the staff have been so helpful over the years, and really stepped up during pandemic restrictions, and their background music gets my feet tapping).

Fruit and veg are good quality and reasonably priced. They have a large selection of cheeses, some meats, pasta, canned foods, bread, and all you need! Why go to a massive corporation like Woolies or Coles - shop local and support your community and you even get better quality goods!

I love this place. Staff are nice. An extensive variety of nuts and dried legumes. Veges are well priced and fresh. Very handy position. Cheap coffee of reasonable quality.

Great prices on produce and most other things. Good international food selection. Friendly staff. Very much enjoy shopping here.

The people there are really nice only thing is food is a bit expensive but I do really like the staff one time I dropped some garlic sauce and they were really nice about it (I still paid for it) but I appreciated that

Great selection of fruit and veg and most other supermarket supplies. They have no toilet paper for the next two weeks but they do have onions, potatoes and most other items.
