I came here on Easter Monday for an emergency towel purchase after mine went missing at surf camp and the fella in the shop was so kind and patient with me whilst I made a decision on what to get. Thank you 🙏🏻

I needed a luggage scale and this was my 5th place after referrals from previous ones. And here they had those. So good service.

Great range and selection of products at very competitive price. Owners service go far and beyond the excpected. Their product knoldge and advise is far superior to any "big chain" or online store service you would get.

Great convenient camping shop in Byron

I’m very happy with my shopping experience at this fantastic store. As an older person, you often get over looked but not in this case this very well run establishment has everything you will need.its allso a store that you can happily potter about at leisure is a joy.

The best place for all your outdoor needs. The staff there are friendly and really helpful. Ask them about fishing,camping,travelling, diving,spearfishing, hiking, hunting . They have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help you with whatever pursuit your'e into. They also set themselves apart from other locally owned outdoor stores because their prices are reasonable and they don't place a huge mark up on everything . I have been going here for years, if they don't have what you need, they can order it in. These guys do what they do because they love their jobs and the community that surrounds it . Support your local stores !

Had issue with the fishing rod I bought. They fixed my issue without extra costs with some forceful negotiation. Would go back.

We had not used our campervan poptop for some time and went to Byron for a short break. We then discovered mold in the canvas and were mortified. The Byron Bay Camping and Disposals shop did not try to sell us any proprietary product but advised us to call Undercover Canvas in Ballina. The lovely lady who answered the phone said " We dont have anything to sell you, but we can advise you what to do". She then gave us explicit instructions including precise brand names and processes. The materials came to less than $5 and the job took 20 mins. Result - no sign of mold and a van as good as new. Not the first time we have been impressed by BBCD but the first time we have expressed it!
Many thanks guys at BBCD for passing us on and to Undercover Canvas for the instructions. And be sure you are both now firmly on our radar for all future "paying" jobs and purchases - fantastic service. You are great!
