Beautiful view from the balcony of an old- time town, fresh and lively food, service time when busy may be a little slow, but other than that, beautiful food, great area, you can watch the chef cook if you wish.

Best Thai in Forbes. Lovely chef and wait staff. Spring rolls crispy not greasy. Thai fish cakes small and perfectly formed. Pad Prik prawns just the right amount of chili and a generous amount of prawns. Fried rice not oily and generous. Tasty !

The restaurant is lacking in terms of decor. Very basic and pedestrian in my opinion. You enter it through a shabby complex of various interiors which I found to be very unappealing. I also thought the prices were too high for what was on offer.

However Ben Hall Beau Thai more than makes up for it in terms of food. The menu is positively riddled with high quality meals. I found the sauce in my stir fry to be particularly excellent. The serves are generous as well.

Overall, I found Ben Hall Beau Thai to be a positive experience and one well worth visiting for any Thai cuisine lover as long as they are willing to put up with bland decor and steep prices.
