Forbes Holiday Park

Excellent location which is very accessible and in a quiet area of town. The sites and surrounding gardens are clean, neat, tidy and easily accessed . The amenities are well cared for and clean , even have freshly laundered bath mats for use. Joel and Linda are great hosts who go out of the way to look after their guests.

A lovely, quiet, beautifully manicured caravan park. Joel and Linda the new young managers are extremely pleasant and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble The amenities are spotless. Alan and I would highly recommend this little gem.

If your looking for a awesome park with great service and affordability well this is your park. The new owners are absolutely fantastic and very welcoming. We rolled in yesterday hot and bothered. Walked into the lovely cooled office and checked in very easily. Kids jumped straight into the pool. got to pick a site that suited us as. Once we set up we went and cooled off at the pool and had a lovely chat with the owners. We will be back guys!!!! Good luck with your new ventures

After a warm greeting by the manager we were shown our van site & clean amenities.

We enjoyed a nice quiet shady setting with our dog in a well laid out park with facilities nearby.

I've already recommended this park to our travelling friends.

The best in Forbes by a country mile!
A great example of a very well run family owned holiday park, spotless facilities green grass everywhere and a quality range of accommodation options.
We chose the grassy unsuited site for our RV that has a rooftop tent. We loved the level well drained ground also offering shade while still offering lovely morning sun.
Plenty of room for the kids to run around without worrying other guests.
The camp kitchen is a true reflection of country road travel in Australia at its best toped off with a crackling campfire complementing the all weather outdoor experience.
This park is a little gem so don’t miss it when traveling through the Lachlan Valley.

The new owners are very friendly and helpful. Tidy peaceful park with plenty of shade for your van, most with concrete slabs. Easy drive through sites. Amenities were clean and tidy and the bathmats provided are a great idea.

What a great place the new owners went above and beyond for our Easter family reunion. The amenities were great there were over 100 of us and we had a fantastic time kids in pool the camp kitchen was fantastic .
Joel, Linda and the delightful little ones Finn,Lottie & Reggie we can't thank you enough we will be back that is for sure. Even our furbabies loved it 😀

Can highly recommend this Park.We stayed here on our way back to Port Macquarie. We found the managers Joel & Linda to be very friendly & welcoming. The park was so neat clean & tidy & the price was very reasonable. Would definitely stay again. You will not be dissapointed.

.We arrived the day a young couple took over as the new owners. They were extremely nice. Check in was made easy.We are in a lovely shady grassy caravan site.Will definitely be back on our next visit to Forbes. Best wishes to Linda and Joel

We spent 6 days at this beautiful caravan park, recently under new ownership and management by Joel and Linda a young couple who have put in so much effort and passion to make it a lovely place to stay. Manicured lawns very clean and tidy and the amenities spotless, lovely shaded areas and the sites large with plenty of room between caravans. Thank you Joel and Linda for popping in for a chat and making sure everything was ok. We will be back to this hidden gem in the country.

We were travelling from Melbourne and arriving late at night. The owners were so accommodating and kind. We really appreciated the service. Clean and tidy park with plenty of room, will definitely stay again. Thanks guys!

After travelling for 5 days in swags with my two young boys unable to get a cabin anywhere as our dog is a little larger we pulled up at Forbes Big 4 - tired, dirty and over the terrible weather. The lady at reception was amazing she did not ask about our dog and offered us a Cabin without hesitation. Knowing I had kids and a dog in the car she made check in super simple and was just absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back to this diamond in the rough - brilliant 👌😊

Not sure about all the negative comments people are saying about this big4 park in Forbes, but we stayed 2 weeks at this park and found it to be always clean and tidy. The park is a delight to walk around with so much shade and the lawn is to die for, I guess alot off people would love to have lawn like this so thick and green , the owners Warren and Ali are such a delight to deal with nothing is to much trouble for them, this park has a great camp kitchen nice pool, huge chess set again in the middle off a lush grassed area. While we where at the park we heard people complain about the toilets and showers beening old this may be true, but never have I seen a cleaner Amenities well done too the cleaning staff Julia and Rachel. This little park is a credit to Warren and Ali. It's sad to hear that this wonderful couple get abused at times for such petty things by ungrateful people that stay at this great park. 10/10 for big 4 in Forbes, more parks should be like this little Gem. Thank you so much Warren and Ali will see you guys again. Cheers.

Quiet and shady. Cabin was clean and well stocked. We were very comfortable.

Went to Forbes for a couple days, stayed at the Forbes Holiday Park, we met Joel when we went to book in, he then came over to the site and directed us onto the slab. The next day we moved to an ensuite site and again Joel was there to help guide us on. He then noticed that we had a flat tyre which he was only to happy to help change. Another family came in the next day with issues to their van and Joel was there helping with the problem. Joel and Linda have only just taken over the park, he has great enthusiasm for his new career and you can see the improvements in just a short time. I will be back for another visit down the track.

Van Park has been around a long time. Cabin is old. This van park is in Forbes. In the Country. The Country is suffering. Forbes is a country town recovering from the floods and has a lot of catching up to do! The cabin is lovely, homely, spotlessly clean, neat, tidy, and well maintained, and has everything you'd need. Nice old comfy lounge, TV, air conditioner & heater, 4 bunk beds with foam mattresses & blankets. Compact kitchen and bathroom with a good selection of kitchen implements. Instantaneous gas hot water that feels like you're wasting a lot of water trying to keep the heat up by turning up full.
Leafy, peaceful surroundings, swimming pool, camp kitchen. It's a lovely place to stay.
