Samosorn Thai Sydney

Samosorn is a busy lunch spot, so you may have to wait to get a seat. However the food is made quite fast, so you won’t have to wait too long. I’ve been here many times & love their noodles. One of most fave dish is Sukho Thai (it has option of soup & dry) 😍

I recently tried Khao Soi (egg noodles & chicken in turmeric curry soup), and I liked it 😘! The soup is like between laksa & curry, and there’s lemon & chilli on the side to add acidity & spicy. My friend loves Guay Tiew Neau Dtoon (rice noodles with beef in five spice broth), and other friends love their Pad Thai & Pad See Ew.

Vegetarian and Gluten Free friendly (there are plenty of dishes which are indicated that could be made Vegetarian or GF). Conveniently located at the food court below Myer, this is the perfect pitstop after all that shopping 😄

•Tasty Thai Foods.
•I ordered a Padt Thai.(A$18). 06Mar2024.
•Staff - Robotic. Cold & just like someone forced them to be there(hahaha🤦🤦🤦). My whole dinning experience is like no one there except myself. From payment to I left the seat.
•Cooked foods are tasty. Authentic Thai cooking. Credit to the Kitchen staff and chef.
•Casher & ground staff. Sorry...U get only 1 out of 10 stars rating from me.

Gorgeous curry chicken. Addictive fried rice.

I really like Chat Thai but noted they introduced a 10% Sunday surcharge on top of the credit card charges that everyone now does. We visited Samsorn instead for a more simple but still delicious menu. It’s the same owner btw.

Conveniently located at the basement of Westfield tower.

Good quality Thai food with reasonable pricing

Great little placed tucked away in the corner in the food court underneath Myer. My Pad Thai was very tasty.

I’ve always been a fan of Samosorn, they but seems like the standard have gone down recently.

Tom yum fried rice was just sour lacking flavour and pad krapao was very little meat with heaps of rice.

Twice when we ate, chicken pieces are raw in the Suki stir fry and pad thai chicken. Hope they improve as this is a food safety issue and can cause food poisoning.

Today I went to have quick lunch again because i really like the Suki dry, but what i got... i am very disappointed the portion is very different and where is your standard? Hopefully who ever work in the kitchen improve this and bring your standard up! and who ever is waiter, pls check before you guys serving... it ridiculous

First time here, impressive entry of the restaurant, disappointing food, I asked for an stir fry with no rice or noodles involved, paid $17 plus, she asked for extra $5 for bigger size dish, I got a shock to see the ridiculous amount of food, it looked like entree, (no even the extra $5! Made it!) the vegetables of the stir fry roughly chop, no beautiful, average flavour, boring, never ever ever will step again in here.
Next day went to eat Thai in Darlinghurst
I asked for same dish plus two skewers of chicken satay lunch special $17 delicious, sophisticated.

Went for dinner tonight and ordered chicken of Thai , ate half of it and found pieces of raw chickens.
The waiter offered replacement for take away , I took the kind gesture and clearly mentioned that I don’t want another chicken on my pad Thai .
But they end up served me another chciken pad Thai 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Poor Thai food I’ve ever had. Taste less and Won’t recommend anyone to waste their money.
